Hizb ut-Tahrir demonstrated on Saturday 5th May 2012 against the abduction of Habibullah Saleem a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir. These demonstrations took place in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar.
Protesters were carrying banners and placards that said, “The abduction of member of Hizb ut-Tahrir Habib can not stop the establishment of Khilafah”, “State abduction of the callers of Khilafah is a declaration of war against the Allah and His Messenger”, “American traitors in the political and military leadership are persecuting the callers for Khilafah”.
Protesters demanded the immediate release of Habib ullah. Protesters said that the abduction of member of Hizb ut-Tahrir from Karachi is a cowardly act by these traitor rulers against the growing popularity of Hizb ut-Tahrir and Khilafah in the Ummah. Protesters declared resolutely that Hizb ut-Tahrir is not going to be scared of these deplorable acts because with the help of Allah, Hizb ut-Tahrir has been continuing its peaceful political activities for the past several decades, despite the brutal and ruthless rulers of Central Asia and the Arab world.
Protesters demanded from the officers of the government agencies that they should not ruin there Hereafter in order to fulfil the desires of the traitors in the political and military leadership, who strive to stop the establishment of Khilafah. Hizb ut-Tahrir is following the method of Prophet s.a.w to establish Khilafah in Pakistan, in order to make her the leader of the Muslim world and a global power. On the contrary traitors in the political and military leadership release a killer like Raymond Davis, hand over our sisters, like Afia Siddiqui, to the Kuffar, surrender the sovereignty of the country by giving assistance in drone attacks to kill innocent civilians and give visas to the agents of American terrorist organizations like CIA and Black Water who conduct bomb blasts and assassinations all over the country.
Protesters demanded from the sincere officers in the armed forces that they should immediately give Nussrah to Hizb ut-Tahrir in order to establish Khilafah so as to be rid of these traitor rulers and American hegemony. At the end of the protest protesters announced their resolve to continue the struggle for the establishment of Khilafah and dispersed peacefully chanting slogans “Unity of the Ummah-Khilafah” and “Might of Ummah-Khilafah”.
Note: On Thursday 12th of April 2012 government agencies with the help of police abducted member of Hizb ut-Tahrir Habib Ullah Saleem from his house in Dada Bhai society. Habib Ullah Saleem is a business man and a very well known politician, amongst the media and political circles. Last year, too, his house was raided by government agencies and police and they stole two computers. On that occasion, when they did not find Habib at home, they treated his wife and children harshly and threatened them with dire consequences.
