Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah of Lebanon held the 1st annual Khilafah conference on 8th of October 2006.

The speakers included Sheikh Abu Alhasan from Kuwait, Dr. Ayman Alkaderee (spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Lebanon), Sheikh Ahmad Alkasas, Dr. Bassam Turras and others

The main issues raised were Islam and West, and the need for all Muslims to establish the Khilafah state.

There was a broad attendance with imams, politicians, journalists and intellectuals from across Lebanon attending.
