DAILY HADITH

Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said: When Allah created Adam and breathed the spirit into him he sneezed and said, “Praise be to Allah.”

So he praised Allah by His permission and his Lord said to him, “Allah have mercy on you, Adam. Go to those angels (i.e. a company of them who were seated) and say, ‘Peace be upon you’.” He said, “Peace be upon you,” and they replied, “Upon you be peace and Allah’s mercy.”

Then he returned to his Lord who said, “This is your salutation and the salutation of your descendants to one another.”

DAILY HADITH

“I indeed know that some people from my Ummah will come on the Day of Judgment with good deeds like the white mountains of Tihama, but Allah will make them scattered dust.” Thawban said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, describe them to us, so that we may not be one of them without knowing it!’ He صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “They will be your brothers, and from your people, and they will take from the night as you do (meaning prayers, etc.), but they are a people who, when they were alone with the prohibitions of Allah, violated them.”

DAILY HADITH

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “There are indeed people who boast of their dead ancestors; but in the sight of Allah they are more contemptible than the black beetle that rolls a piece of dung with its nose. Behold, Allah has removed from you the arrogance of the Time of Jahiliyyah (Ignorance) with its boast of ancestral glories. Man is but an Allah-fearing believer or an unfortunate sinner. All people are the children of Adam, and Adam was created out of dust.”

Narrated by At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “The world is a prison-house for a believer and Paradise for a non-believer.”

Sahih Muslim. Narrated by Abu Huraira

DAILY HADITH

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Some day, your Amirs will show favour to wicked people and delay performing the prayer from its fixed times. So, whoever among you sees such a thing, should not take the post of a monitor (‘Areef), policeman (Shurti), revenue officer (Jaabi) or a treasurer (Khaazin).”

ibn Hibban

DAILY HADITH

Abu Yahya Suhaib b. Sinan narrated that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Wondrous are the believer’s affairs. For him there is good in all his affairs, and this is so only for the believer. When something pleasing happens to him, he is grateful, and that is good for him; and when something displeasing happens to him, he is enduring (sabar), and that is good for him. “

Sahih Muslim

DAILY HADITH

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “There are four who will be tested on the Day of Resurrection: the deaf who could not hear anything; the imbecile; the senile old man; and the man who died during the fatarah (interval between two Prophets, when no Message reached him).

The deaf man will say, “O Lord, Islam came and I did not hear anything.” The imbecile will say, “O Lord, Islam came but the young boys were pelting me with camel dung.” The senile old man will say, “O Lord, Islam came and I did not hear anything.” The man who died during the fatarah will say, “O Lord, no Messenger came to me.”

Then Allah will take their pledge to obey Him, and He will send word to them to enter the fire. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if they enter it, it will be cool and safe for them.”

Narrated by Al-Aswad ibn Saree’. Ahmad in his Musnad, and classed as saheeh by Al-Bayhaqi.

DAILY HADITH

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Angels keep on descending from and ascending to the heaven in turn, some at night and some by daytime, and all of them assemble together at the time of the Fajr and ‘Asr prayers. Then those who have stayed with you overnight, ascend unto Allah Who asks them (and He knows the answer better than they): “How have you left My slaves?” They reply, “We left them while they were praying and we came to them while they were praying.” The narrator added: “If anyone of you says ‘Amin (during the prayer at the end of the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha), and the angels in heaven say the same, and the two sayings coincide, all his past sins will be forgiven.”

Bukhari, Vol. 4, Hadith No. 446, Narrated by Abu Huraira

DAILY HADITH

Narrated by Hudhaifa: ‘Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم narrated to us two narrations, one of which I have seen (happening) and I am waiting for the other. He narrated that honesty was preserved in the roots of the hearts of men (in the beginning) and then they learnt it (honesty) from the Qur’an, and then they learnt it from the (Prophet’s) Sunna (tradition).

DAILY HADITH

Narrated ‘Aisha: “The day of Bu’ath (i.e. Day of fighting between the two tribes of the Ansar, the Aus and Khazraj) was brought about by Allah for the good of His Messenger so that when Allah’s Messenger reached (Medina), the tribes of Medina had already divided and their chiefs had been killed and wounded. So Allah had brought about the battle for the good of His Messenger in order that they (i.e. the Ansar) might embrace Islam.”

Sahih Bukhari

DAILY HADITH

“O Son of Adam, as long as you supplicate to Me and have hope in me I will pardon you in spite of what you have done, and I do not care. O Son of Adam, if your sins were so numerous as to reach the lofty regions of the sky, then you asked My forgiveness, I would forgive you, and I do not care. O Son of Adam, if you were to meet Me with enough sins to fill the earth, then you met Me, not associating anything with Me (in worship), I shall greet you with its equivalent in forgiveness.'”

DAILY HADITH

When Allah created Paradise and Hell-fire, He sent Gabriel to Paradise, saying: “Look at it and at what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants.” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “So he came to it and looked at it and at what Allah had prepared therein for its inhabitants.” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “So he returned to Him and said: ‘By your glory, no one hears of it without entering it.’ So He ordered that it be encompassed by forms of hardship, and He said: “Return to it and look at what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants.” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “So he returned to it and found that it was encompassed by forms of hardship. Then he returned to Him and said: ‘By Your glory, I fear that no one will enter it.’ He said: “Go to Hell-fire and look at it and what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants,” and he found that it was in layers, one above the other. Then he returned to Him and said: ‘By Your glory, no one who hears of it will enter it.’ So He ordered that it be encompassed by lusts. Then He said: “Return to it.” And he returned to it and said: ‘By Your glory, I am frightened that no one will escape from entering it.'”

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah in Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and An-Nasa’i

‘Umar bin Al-Khattab departed for Sham and when he reached Sargh, the commanders of the (Muslim) army, Abu ‘Ubaida bin Al-Jarrah and his companions met him and told him that an epidemic had broken out in Sham. ‘Umar said, “Call for me the early emigrants.”

So ‘Umar called them, consulted them and informed them that an epidemic had broken out in Sham. Those people differed in their opinions. Sahih Bukhari, narrated by Abu Huraira.

DAILY HADITH

‘So whoever fulfils among you, his reward is with Allah, and whoever does anything of that and is punished for it, then it is expiation (kaffara) for him. And whoever does anything of that and Allah conceals him upon it, if He wills He will forgive him and if He wills, He will punish him.'”

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم as saying: “Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: I live in the thought of My servant and I am with him as he remembers Me.” (The Holy Prophet) further said: “By Allah, Allah is more pleased wth the repentance of His servant than what one of you would do on finding the lost camel in the waterless desert. When he draws near Me by the span of his hand. I draw near him by the length of a cubit and when he draws near Me by the length of a cubit. I draw near him by the length of a fathom and when he draws near Me walking I draw close to him hurriedly.”

Sahih Muslim

DAILY HADITH

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“Allah the Almighty has some Angels looking for those who celebrate the praises of Allah the Almighty on the roads and paths. When they find people celebrating the praises of Allah the Almighty, they call each other, saying, ‘Come and see what you were looking for.’

The Angles then, encircle them with their wings raised to the sky of the world. (When those people have celebrated the praises of Allah the Almighty, the Angels go back and) their Lord asks them though He knows better than them, ‘What do My servants say?’
