Then, the fitnah of As-Sarraa [meaning ‘the rich’, when some rich people use their money to hire others to fight for them] will start from under the feet of a man who claims that he is of me (of my descendants). However, he is not of me, for my loyal friends are the ones who have taqwa.

DAILY HADITH

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Umar: Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection.”

Sahih Bukhari

DAILY HADITH

Narrated Anas: ‘Abdullah bin Salam heard the news of the arrival of Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم (at Medina) while he was on a farm collecting its fruits. So he came to the Prophet and said, “I will ask you about three things which nobody knows unless he be a prophet. Firstly, what is the first portent of the Hour? What is the first meal of the people of Paradise? And what makes a baby look like its father or mother?’.

DAILY HADITH

Malik related to me from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar said, “The Jews came to the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم and mentioned to him that a man and woman from among them had committed adultery. It has stoning for it, so bring the Torah.’

DAILY HADITH

A’isha, the wife of Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم, reported that Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم used to say: “Observe moderation (in doing deeds), and if you fail to observe it perfectly, try to do as much as you can do and be happy for none would be able to get into Paradise because of his deeds alone.” They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: “Allah’s Messenger, not even you?” Thereupon he said: “Not even I, but that Allah wraps me in His Mercy, and bear this in mind that the deed loved most by Allah is one which is done constantly even though it is insignificant.”

Sahih Muslim, Book 039, Number 6770

DAILY HADITH

Sa`d رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“The most in their suffering among the people are the prophets, then the best, then the (next) best. One is afflicted in accordance with his faith. If his faith is firm, his affliction is hard, and if his faith is weak, his affliction is light. Indeed, one would be so much subjected to adversity until he walks among the people without any sins.”

Ahmad and At-Tirmidhi

DAILY HADITH

It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraida through his father that when the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say:

DAILY HADITH

“I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man whose character is good.”

DAILY HADITH

Muslim narrated in his Saheeh that Jaabir said: Suraaqah ibn Maalik ibn Ju’sham came and said: “O Messenger of Allah, explain our religion to us as if we had only just been created. What should we strive for today? Is it for something concerning which the pens  have dried and the decree has been issued, or is it concerning which the pens have dried and the decree has been issued, or is it concerning something that is yet to be decided?” He صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “No, it is for something concerning which the pens have dried and the decree has been issued.” He said, “Then why should we strive?” He صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Strive, for each person will be facilitated to do his deeds.”

Sahih Muslim

DAILY HADITH

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “This matter (Khilafah) will continue after me in Al-Madina, then (move to) Al-Shaam, then to the peninsula, then to Iraq, then to the city (Constantinople), then to Bait-ul-Maqdis. So if it reaches Bait-ul-Maqdis, then it would have reached its (natural resting place); and no people who remove it (i.e. the capital of the Khilafah) from their land will ever get it back again (for them to be the capital again).”

DAILY HADITH

Abu al-‘Abbas ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas, reported: One day I was behind the Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, and he said to me:

“O young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice] : Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. If you (have need to) ask, ask of Allah; and if you seek help, seek help from Allah. Know that even if the Nation (or the whole community) were to gather together to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you with anything except that which Allah has already recorded for you, and that if they gather together to harm you with something, they would not be able to harm you with anything except that which Allah has already recorded against you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.”

[Al-Tirmidhi relates this and says: It is a good, genuine Hadith]
