Armed mutiny or a ruse by tyrant Emomali Rahmon to ban the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan!?

Comment:

Greed and ignorance of tyrannical rulers make them commit terrible crimes. The recent events in Tajikistan serve as an example of it. The so-called “armed mutiny” organized by the former Deputy Minister of Defence General Abduhalim Nazarzoda is nothing else than another perfidious crime of the tyrant Emomali Rahmon.

This action of the authorities is linked directly to the Party of Islamic Revival of Tajikistan – the only “Islamic” party, officially operating on the territory of Central Asia since 1990. The party leader now is Mukhiddin Kabiri. This party has nothing to do with Islam except that they are deceived by Islamic slogans in the party. These Muslims hope that Islamic rule will be revived in Tajikistan in the nearest future. The party is founded on secular ideas, yet it attracts its followers because of the Islamic slogans. The party, which is independent and uncontrollable to the authorities, troubles the tyrant Rahmon very much.

February 28, 2010 the Party of Islamic Revival of Tajikistan polled 8.2% and got two seats in the Lower Chamber of the Tajik parliament “Madjlis Oli.” In the elections in March 2015, under pressure of Rahmon who used all sorts of ruses the Central Election Committee stated that only 1.5% voted for the Party of Islamic Revival of Tajikistan. Thus the authorities excluded the Party of Islamic Revival of Tajikistan out of the parliament and began to put large-scale pressure upon its leader and adherents. There were accusations the party of having connection with terrorist and extremist activities of some members, Mukhiddin Kabiri was charged with embezzlement of state property and many others. Intending to complete his plan to ban the Party of Islamic Revival in Tajikistan completely, the tyrant Rahmon organized “armed mutiny”.

General Abduhalim Nazarzoda served as the First Deputy Commander of Land Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2005-2007. He studied at the Tajik National University in 2006-2009. Since 2007 till January 2014 he took up his post as the Head of the Agency of Command and Security of Military Service. In January 2014 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan by the decree of the president.

Before his death, General Abduhalim Nazarzoda managed to make an oral statement in which he said: “The government of Rahmon decided to liquidate many of the former commanders of the UTO (the United Tajik Opposition) as not all of them signed the resolution of the authorities to liquidate the Party of Islamic Revival. Thus, the government considered them political suspects as these commanders may defend the party and the people after the liquidation of the party, even though they did not signed this paper arguing that the military cannot be involved in politics and nothing depend upon their signatures. However, despite everything the part of the commanders who did not sign the application for closing down the party they signed their own death warrant by this”.

According to the statement of General Nazarzoda, after the attacks the authorities intended to throw the bodies of already killed commanders to these places, and to announce to the world that they were killed during the fighting. Partly they succeeded. The general and his companions-in-arms did not abandon themselves at the mercy of the tyrant and his jackals. The military fought to the bitter end defending their honor and dignity.

Muslims! We can stop the crimes of tyrants only if the whole Islamic world unites around Islam. The work on the revival of Islam as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ showed us is the saving way for all of us. Struggle against tyrants by the best word – the Quran and by following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ by Allah’s will and His promise will make us winners and martyrs. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

سيد الشهداء حمزة بن عبد المطلب ، ورجل قال إلى إمام جائر فأمره ونهاه فقتله» «

“The master of the martyrs is Hamza ibn Abdul Mattalib, and a man who stands (in front of) an oppressive ruler and enjoins the good and forbids the evil and so is killed for it.”
