Dear Brother Ustaadh Abdoon Nasr Abdoon
As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu,
RE: A comment upon what came in your column “Summits and Slopes”
We came across your article in the newspaper “Al-Ahram Al-Yawm” on Monday the 4th of Dhul Hijjah 1432 ah corresponding to the 31st of October 2011 in your column “Summits and slopes” under the heading: “Remembrance of two important events”. And were shocked when we read the following words in the article: ‘And there does not exist today a popular political party that is demanding the return of the Khilaafah’ and the reason for our shock was that there existed a writer in your position and cultural level who did not know of Hizb-ut-Tahrir, which has continued working since the 1950’s in the entire Islaamic world and remains to this day working night and day for the sake of resuming the Islaamic way of life by the establishment of the rightly guided Khilaafah upon the path of the Prophethood, because the Khilaafah became an obligation upon Muslims to establish after it was destroyed as you mentioned in your article and it is therefore not dreams or aspirations as you stated in your article as the Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“And whoever dies without a pledge of allegiance upon his neck, he dies a death of Jaahiliyah (pre-Islaamic ignorance).”
And before we comment upon what was contained in your article allow us to thank you for your concern in regards to this great event, which is the major issue of the Muslims at this time, and reminding the Muslims about what afflicted them as a result of the removal of the Khilaafah state in terms of being torn into pieces and division, And that they will never return as an Ummah with any real weight and lead the world (again) except with the return of the rightly guided Khilaafah upon the path of the Prophethood again. And for the purpose of resuming the Islaamic way of life through the establishment of the Khilaafah Hizb-ut-Tahrir was established and it works in the Ummah and with her top achieve this.
As for commenting upon what came in your article I say seeking help with Allah:
1) Allah Subhaanahu has promised his righteous believing servants with the accession to authority and to establish them firmly when He سبحانه وتعالى said:
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ
“Allah has promised those who believe among you and perform righteous acts that he will of a surety grant them authority in the land like he granted to those before them.” (An-Nur: 55)
So does this enter into the category of dreams and aspirations?! And are the glad tidings of the Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم with the return of the righteous Khilaafah upon the path of the Prophethood after the oppressive rule which by the will of Allah the Ummah lives the last of its days under now as mentioned in the noble Hadeeth:
“The Prophethood will last among you till Allah wishes it to last, and then Allah will raise it up. Afterwards there will be a Khilaafah according to the way of the prophethood so long as Allah wishes it to last, and then Allah will raise it up. Afterwards there will be a self supporting rule and it will last so long as Allah wishes it to last, and then Allah will raise it up. Afterwards there will be an oppressive rule, and it will last as long as Allah wishes it to last, and then Allah will raise it up. And then there will be a Khilaafah according to the way of the Prophethood. He was then silent” recorded by Ahmad.
Do these glad tidings from the Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم only reflect mere aspirations and dreams?!
2) Have not the sacrifices of the Hizb and its Shabaab in Ash-Shaam, Central Asia, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt and Sudan amongst other Muslim lands reached you in terms of their imprisonment, torture and being killed in addition to the steadfastness of the Hizb upon its ideology for more than 50 years in spite of the changes and transformations that have occurred from some who have deviated from the sound path due to their yearning for some kind of temporary authority that will perish and decomposed thrones. Does the persevering with steadfastness of the Hizb to achieve its objective hold no value?
3) Indeed the issue of the Khilaafah has awoken the obsessions of the great nations taking away their sleep even before its establishment causing them to draw out expected scenarios, plotting and planning how to prevent its establishment and then manufacturing plans of how to stand against it if they are unable to prevent its establishment. And maybe you came across the Ankara conference in relation to the Hizb and the Khilaafah, the Nixon Centre of research report and the Memorial Centre for Human rights in addition to report from the CIA. And maybe you came across the statements of Putin about the Khilaafah, George Bush Junior and his Secretary of Defence, in addition to the statement of the head of the armed forces Mayer and then the statement of Blair about the Islaamic virus represented in the Islaamic Khilaafah and political Islaam and all of this has been in recent times. Does all of this not indicate that what you have believed to be mere aspirations and dreams is viewed by the people of international politics as an event that is very near to happening?!
4) Let us ponder how the first Islaamic State was established and how the people who established it were weak in material means but strong with their Lord and Deen until Allah gave them the victory in the Shadow of the presence of two great powers at that time (the Persians and Romans) and this new born state was able within thirty years to make them insignificant and take on the leadership of the world?!
5) Verily the Khilaafah my dear brother is coming by the permission of Allah and not because it is hopes and aspirations but rather because it is obligatory and because it is a promise from Allah and the glad tidings of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم. And behind it are men who have sold their lives and wealth for the sake of its establishment and the we can see that the world is intently monitoring every step related to the return of the Khilaafah as it teeters towards its collapse after the failure of its capitalist ideology in terms of leading the world after communism had collapsed before it. Now only the great ideology of Islaam remains to lead mankind who lives today in misguidance and discontent once again into goodness and justice. Allah Azza Wa Jalla says:
هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ
“It is He who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and Deen of truth so that it would prevail over all other Deens even though the Mushrikoon (disbelievers) detest this.” (At-Tawbah 33).
