Abduction of Advocates of Khilafah Proves the Animosity of Rulers with Islam

National Action Plan is US Action Plan

The families of three advocates of the Khilafah held a press conference in the biggest city of Pakistan, Karachi, along with their lawyer at the famous Karachi Press Club. They said that through media they want to make the public aware of a grave injustice. They said that in Karachi, three young and well educated men, from well respected families have been forced to become missing persons. Their details are given below:

  1. Syed Muhammad Bilal Imam s/o Syed Muhammad Ather Imam, age 23 years, is a medical doctor who works at Civil Hospital, Surgical Ward Number 6. On 6th August 2016 Dr. Bilal, left his home in Malir Halt at 9 a.m. for hospital but never reached there.
  2. Syed Muneeb s/o Syed Moazam, age 20, is a university student who is in his second year of Mechanical Engineering at the renowned NED University of Engineering and Technology. On 15th August 2016, Munib left his home in Gulistan-i-Juhar to offer Magrib prayer but never returned.
  3. Hizbullah Ansari s/o Ansari, age 27, an engineer and teacher. On 22nd August 2016 Engineer Hizbullah left his home in Buffer Zone to offer Asr prayer at Masjid and when he came out of Masjid, men in plain clothes forcibly abducted him, transferring him into their car, in front of many witnesses from the Masjid.

The families and their legal counsel stated that it is very unfortunate that in a city like Karachi, highly educated men from well-respected families have been forcibly abducted and even after passage of so many days there is no news about them. Even more unfortunate is that the state and its institutions do not respond over such incident and pretend that nothing has happened and when the judiciary holds them to account regarding the “missing persons,” they simply say that they are not with them, as if by saying this alone means that they have fulfilled their responsibility! The families and their legal counsel further stated that these three men are peaceful, religious and respected men. These men have never been involved in any criminal activity, rather their neighbours, colleagues and acquaintances are all witness to them being peaceful and good Muslims, who not only practice Islam, they call others to do the same. They said that they have no doubt that government agencies have abducted them because abducting peaceful Muslims has become a norm in Pakistan, even though it was created in the name of Islam. Any good man who calls people to Islam and engages in political and intellectual struggle for the implementation of Islam is a target. They asked the journalists and media personnel in general to highlight this human tragedy, so that state institutions are made to realize that they have committed an illegal act, by abducting these three men and therefore must release them immediately or present them in court, so they can defend themselves against charges leveled against them.

Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan condemns the abduction of peaceful advocates of the Khilafah, calling for the return of Islam as a way of life. It highlights before the Muslims that the regime is using abductions because it is unable to refute the truthful stand of those who are working to ensure Pakistan is ruled according to the Quran and the Sunnah. And it assures the Muslims that the Firawns of today, whether in Bangladesh, Syria, Pakistan or any other place, will fail to prevent the return of Islam as an authority and a state.

“Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them”
