On the 14th May 2010, the recently retired head of the British army, General Richard Dannatt speaking on the BBC's Today program confirmed that the war in Afghanistan is a war on Islam.

When asked about Britain's continued occupation of Afghanistan, he said there is an "Islamist agenda which if we don't oppose it and face it off in Southern Afghanistan, or Afghanistan, or in South Asia, then frankly that influence will grow. It could well grow, and this is an important point, we could see it moving from South Asia to the Middle East to North Africa, and to the high water mark of the Islamic caliphate in the 14th, 15th century."
Taji Mustafa, media representative of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain said, "General Dannatt, a recent adviser to Prime Minister Cameron, has previously been on the record attacking Islam's ruling system, the Khilafah (Caliphate). However, this exchange on the BBC confirms a particular matter."
"He explicitly said that if Muslims adopted Islam's political ideas and the Khilafah ruling system, this was unacceptable and warranted a military response from Britain. He had no issues with Muslims praying or enacting spiritual rituals, provided they surrendered political life to Western values. He tried to justify this by attempting to label Islam as a religion and not a deen, or way of life that encompasses political matters as well."
"These comments echo the language of war mongers like Tony Blair, George W Bush and Donald Rumsfeld - all of who justified the war on terror by demonising the desire of Muslims to restore the Islamic Caliphate - something that enjoys overwhelming popular support in the Muslim world."
"If Dannatt's comments are a reflection of the thinking of the new British government, it is an indication that David Cameron's government would be committing itself to an almost perpetual war against the political aspirations of the Muslim world - to move towards a greater role for Islam in governance and a greater move to shed the shackles of colonialism, both of which are represented in the aspiration for the return of the Caliphate."

The recent two acts of disobedience and utter pride displayed by the followers of lucifer show that the time is not very far when 'azaab of Allah' in the form of big disasters comes in. these were 'boobquake on 28th Apr' and 'draw Muhammad day on 20th May'. we all know and understand that there exists nothing of the sort of 'al-qaeda' or 'taliban', less a faction of people being organized and instructed by these evil powers to malign and disable Muslims from concentrating on their actual priorities. we will not be worried; because we know we are here temporarily just for a test, not for permanent stay. so we will perform so as to earn good marks for the result(Qayamah) day. Lets get back to our reference for every activity and reaction to them, i.e, Quran and Hadis, for this is the only authentic guidance from His side. May Allah guide us all. |

The discussion of wether Islam is a religion of an ideology, had its roots from the Western world. The discussion is very important as there still a lot of sisters and brothers out there thinking that Islam is nothing but a religion. The definition of religion is something that can not be prooved by a rational thinking mind, metaphysical, and limited to the private sphere. A little bit like pixies, Santa Claus etc. Just the wearing of headscarf, which obligatory, is enough to proove this wrong as it is not limited to the private sphere. And ideology is an idea with a specific method to spread the idea. The idea must answer questions about what was before life, the life (meaning of life) and what is after life. Islam answers these questions in a way so it is consistent with our rational mind. Islam is guiding way on how to live in a way so we obey our Lord as well as taking care of our human nature. It treats the economic system, social system etc. All this prooves that islam is in fact an ideology. Wa Alhamdulilahi Rabbil Alamin |

This man was the chief of army staff of the British army, he executed what the politicians concucted againt Islam. Last April a reprt from a parlimentary commitee exposed the British governemnts attempt at reforming Islam. The ections that took place in May had many Muslims and scholers arguing that Muslim should participate in the elections in order that they should avheive their interests. Is their any doubt that this country is not just opposed to Muslims and Islam but they are activly working to destroy Islam. Muslim in Britian need to wake up and smell the coffee. |

No real surprise here. Britain has been at the forefront of attacking Islam and the Khilafah ever since KIng Richard set off on a crusade against Muslims in the 12th century. It was instrumental in carving up the Muslim lands under Mr Sykes so the Muslims would never unite again. Britain can plot and plan as much as it likes but Allah is the best planner and they cannot prevent or delay Allah's plan. |
