In the Arab lands, electricity is cut off from the mosques and factories almost all the time, but it does not cut off from the prison cells, but instead works with an evil force.

This power source, which Allah has blessed us with, can light up our homes, streets, and cities, and remains as the blessing which Allah has willed it to be when He created it. Or it can be used for evil and cause us misery and hardship, contrary to what its Creator willed for it. This is exactly like how our inner potential energy is because of instincts and needs- it has the potential for good and bad. What controls this (inner potential) are the ideas that human beings carry. If they (the ideas) are good then the results are good, and if they are bad then the results are bad.

Human behaviour is not due to instincts and needs, but due to the concepts mankind carries about life. Instincts and needs are nothing but motivators for work, and it is the same thing with all mankind. Even though the intrinsic motivators are the same, only the behaviour changes from person to person. This is due to the difference in thoughts.

What makes this difference in behaviour are the concepts which every human being carries. These concepts are the ones that define his behaviour and define his overall direction. They are the ones, if refined, make the behaviour refined, and if degraded, make the behaviour degraded.

Thus, utmost care must be given to ideas and concepts, especially the fundamental ones among them, as they are in charge of building the whole personality, whether the state of mind or soul. Moreover, it controls the course of a human being’s life, and the course of history and humanity altogether.

What made the author write this comment is what he read today whilst he was looking up the facebook news page.

He read a report that was talking about electricity cuts for days in some areas of Lebanon, and another report about Muslim female prisoners subjected to torture by electrocution in Iraq and Syria!

Isn’t it a paradox to reach this miserable state, where the means of light is transformed to the means of darkness?!

This is the exact state of the governments that employ regime scholars who transform to bugles of falsehood and callers at the doors of hell, instead of being beacons of guidance with what they have of knowledge. Thus, becoming a means to drug the Ummah.

Disbelieving and frivolous states that transform electricity from a positive power, that was meant to give life to humanity, serve them, and light their paths, to a murderous power… Forbidden from the people, to be changed to a destructive power, violating the sanctities, crushing people’s dignities through it, and taken as a means to impose tyranny and darkness!

What is the fault of the electricity? That it is to be used for evil and corruption, contrary to what it was created for?!

It is the destructive ideas that rule the whole world today, and within it the lands of the Muslims that are ravaged with disbelieving and agent regimes, discharging all the black hatred of the crusaders on us.

Therefore, we say: Oh Muslims! Oh people of Egypt and Ash-Shaam! What is needed to be changed today is not only the instruments, like the retarded rulers. Rather, the fundamental thoughts that rule our lands need to be changed, as well as the political system that is built on these (thoughts) in its entirety, from the roots.

A state must be established on a new foundation that is completely different from the current states. A state that is based on pure Islamic thoughts. A state that is established on the Islamic creed, and what it brings of systems and values.

At that moment, the matter relating to persons, parties, instruments, means, and laws will become easy. Only then, will we be able to change everything we possess of potentials and capabilities available in the earth, nature, or ourselves, to a driving force that contributes to the revival of the Ummah, its happiness, advancement, and the carrying of its message to the world… The required state is the rightly guided Khilafah, in all sense of the word.

The Khilafah is not merely a name, but a clear prophetic wording of the Islamic rule with its intellectual, legal, political, economical, and societal system.

All other ruling systems are considered disbelieving (kufur) systems, and masquerading as Islam, in form and substance.

قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَابٌ مُبِينٌ

يَهْدِي بِهِ اللَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلَامِ وَيُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ

“A Light has come to you from Allah and a Clear Book. By it, Allah guides those who follow what pleases Him to the ways of Peace. He will bring them from the darkness to the light by His permission, and guide them to a straight path.”
