Yemen: A Government Blessed by the West

Its exterior is partnership and its interior contains conflict that will not meet the demands of the people

It was announced on Friday 07/11/2014, the formation of a new Government in Yemen, headed by Khaled Mahfoudh Bahah, after a delay of more than half a month, as per the Peace and National Partnership Agreement, which was signed on the day Houthis (Ansar Allah) entered the capital Sanaa. Perhaps the most prominent and most important reasons, in that delay and this confusion and instability for Yemen and its falling government, is the international conflict over Yemen, particularly the Anglo-American which is locally served, and its parties are sponsored by regional countries such as Saudi Arabia and Iran.

The formation of the Government of Khalid Bahah comes after intense struggle “for the first time” in Yemen since 1978; since in the past, Britain had the stronghold over the political milieu in the country, and was not hard for it the appointment of the head of the government and the designation of his ministers. However, this balance tipped after the Houthis’ (Ansar Allah) entering Sanaa militarily on 21/09/2014. The cabinet reshuffle in the Bahah’s government gives us a picture of the international conflict in Yemen, where Britain’s influence declined due to America’s rivalry via Iran and its tools; those tools that are unaware of the intended reality for them, although some of them seemed complaining of Iran’s statements and its dictates. America is only interested in its interests and does not settle for crumbs, which, although it adopted a draft resolution for sanctions against Ali Saleh and two Houthi leaders, it is only for throwing sand in the eyes; where its aim is Ali Saleh in particular, being a Britain man. It is disturbed by his penetration to the Houthis and exploiting them, pretending to be an ally. Rather, it realizes that Britain will depend upon him or his son, in the case of the failure of its man, Hadi, in front of the Houthis and the Southern Movement in securing what can be preserved of its interests. And perhaps Britain began to loom using its second paper exploiting the anger on the street against America and its sanctions, even though it appeared to string America along in punishing Saleh. Where its second paper began to boycott the government and call for early elections. America deemed the Houthis (Ansar Allah) a political trend which does not object to their arrival to the rule whenever it sees that the increase in their influence will achieve its project in Yemen and the region. Why not, while it sees them as fuel to the sectarian conflict under the guise of the war on terrorism, at a time when its drones are bombing those it deemed as terrorists, so where is the truth in the slogans?! Are not those aware of what America wants for Yemen and the region, or that they are living an illusion called “the intersection of interests”? Is it then viable for those to drawl on political consciousness, saying: Terrorism is an American industry, then we see them promoting such merchandise and what results from it of chaos and fighting?

O Politicians in Yemen in all Parties and Organizations… Oh Army Commanders and Officers, and Tribal Leaders… O Actors in the Country: We hope to see among you those of enduring discrimination forbidding corruption on earth, fearing Allah alone and not anyone else, who are aware of the reality of the change and the requirements of the revival… Those who are not lured by embassies, not fooled by slogans, and investigate the truth to rid their Ummah from what they are in. Here is Hizb ut Tahrir, which adopted from Islam in every detail of its details to achieve a comprehensive revival, invites you with insight to work for the establishment of this great edifice, and to be a building block of its blocks.

O our people in Yemen: Your situation will not change by changing a person in place of a person or changing a Government in place of a government while the regime remains the same! And how will this government see the light while it is constrained by the West and its programs and organizations which, although it seems to have luster, is a false material and a mirage?! And what about a Muslim who is aware of the words of Allah Almighty:

وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا

“And whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a depressed life”

(Ta-Ha: 124)

How he is to imagine that his life will be safe and reassuring away from the rule of Islam and its rulings which are revealed by Allah Almighty as a doctrine and a way of life? What we yearn and work for is not any life, but an Islamic life in the light of a conscious state to the rules of its Lord and fosters the affairs of those under its authority, advising them, uniting them and repelling their enemies and carrying the goodness for humanity; a rightly-guided Khilafah on the method of the Prophethood. And how for a Muslim to reject Allah’s Rule and Rulings just because some people tried to distort it, whether they are rulers, groups or individuals?! For this let the workers work and the competitors compete.
