The Egyptian Ministry of Health reported an increase in the number of killed and injured on Sunday, the sixth of October, to 53 killed and 271 injured. The security forces also arrested 423 protestors, according to a source in the Interior Ministry. The army and police violently confronted the will of the protestors opposed to the military coup that entered Tahrir Square in Cairo, which was open to the supporters of the current authority to celebrate and receive gifts from the army in the form of coupons. On the other side of the square those who went out in peaceful protests in objection to the coup were killed and injured. What a paradox!
Even odder than that are the statements made by the media advisor of the interim president, who accused the protestors of “carrying out the function of agents” to foreign countries, as prior justification for the operations of killing that the security forces carried out. This is not surprising from the authority whose Prime Minister justified the disbanding of the Rabaa Al Adaweya and Nahda sit ins and the killing of more than one thousand people by saying that the police used “the highest level of self control”, indeed he sees that they did no more than America did in Vietnam!!
It has shown to everyone that this regime and its security forces do not care about the Muslims at all, and will not cease to spill sacred blood. We continue to reiterate the sanctity of the blood of a Muslim within their hearing, as an apology to our Lord and so perhaps they might fear Allah سبحانه وتعالى. The saying of the Almighty:
وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِناً مُتَعَمِّداً فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِداً فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَاباً عَظِيماً
“But whoever kills a believer intentionally – his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment.”
(an-Nisa’: 93)
And the Messenger’s صلى الله عليه وسلم saying:
لزوال الدنيا أهون على الله من قتل رجل مسلمٍ
“The demise of the world is lesser to Allah than the killing of a Muslim man.” [Narrated by Tirmidhi]
Indeed, it is a tragedy that the weapons of the army are turned on those who those weapons should protect. Oh honorable sons of the Egyptian army! You will stand between the hands of Allah سبحانه وتعالى to stand to account for what you have done! And you will be held accountable for your silence about these leaders and the injustice they commit against your Ummah, so be with those who work for change before you are exchanged and regret Allah’s سبحانه وتعالى right that you neglected!
وَالَّذِينَ لا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلا بِالْحَقِّ وَلا يَزْنُونَ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَانًا
“And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. * Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated.”
(Al-Furqan: 68-69)
