The ambiguous situation in Al-Qusair, Syria

Has it fallen completely or not? If it has really fallen then how could this be after the arrival of support from the North? Was the town surrendered or did the fighters leave the town in an organised withdrawal?

In the face of this ambiguous situation in Al-Qusair the following points are clear true realities:

Firstly the revolution continues and Baab Amr (in Homs) fell before however the revolution continued and the victory overall this year has been to the revolution despite suffering the tactical loss.

The second truth is that it is the inactivity of the Muslims, both the people and the governments who did not come to give support to their brothers in Ash-Shaam. Whilst at the same time we find the enemy gathering all of its forces in terms of Russia, Iran, Iraq and Lebanon.

America and her agents imagined that the battle of Al-Qusair would be a battle of destiny where its fall would be considered a strategic defeat that would make the revolution kneel down and submit to the planned Geneva negotiations. However, it is not permitted for us to fall into this trap that has been exposed and this despicable conspiracy.

O people of Ash-Shaam, O men of the revolution and free people of Syria in every place… O Believers, the time has come for you to go out lightly and heavily to deal decisively with this historic battle, so organise your ranks, get over your differences and have Tawakkul upon the Lord of ‘Izzah Al-Qawwiy Al-Jabbaar.

The tyrant’s army has been collapsed for some time and those who are fighting you now are the Iranians and their followers in the region. So will you let them decide your destiny and future, there is no question that their needs to be one push and one unified front and a decisive winning battle in Halab, Idlib, Ar-Riqqah, Ad-Deer and Dar’aa and from there to move with all force to Hamaa and Homs from the north and Damascus from the south.

And to the Muslims who live in the region we say: What are you waiting for? Your inactivity, watching and clinging to the earth has gone on for long enough. If you do not go out now then you will deserve the punishment of Allah and humiliation on this earth under the shade of the Persian rule and their followers in addition to those who have allied with the crusading Americans.

“O You who believe! What is the matter with you that when you are told, ‘Go out and fight in the way of Allah,’ you sink down heavily to the earth? Are you happier with this world than the Next World? Yet the enjoyment of this world is very small compared to that of the Next World.”

(At-Taubah, 9:38)
