As such, a re-install of the Syrian National Council has been completed, and the so-called “Syrian National Coalition” has been formed, so it can act as an Islamic face for the secular National Council, and a political front to manage the post-Assad transition.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَخُونُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوا أَمَانَاتِكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
“O you who believe! Do not betray Allah and His Messenger, and do not knowingly betray your trusts.”

On 9th December 2012, a “Military Chiefs of Staff” was formed as an arm of the National Coalition, to control the revolution’s conditions on the ground, and to become the nucleus of the new Syrian army. Reuters recently reported this, saying, “Syrian rebel groups meeting in Turkey elected a 30-member unified command on Friday at talks attended by security officials from international powers.” The news mentioned that the composition of the “Military Chiefs of Staff” grouping resembles the composition of the opposition “National Coalition” formed in Qatar last month, under Western and Arab auspices.
This growing international interest shows that the West senses the imminent downfall of the Syrian regime. This also explains the increased meetings, conferences, statements, and formation of councils and coalitions in the region, all of which are only due to the fear of the West, and their agents, regarding two prominent issues:
The first is the intensification of fighting in the capital Damascus and its countryside, constraining the regime by surrounding the airport and halting air traffic. All this indicates a true threat to the regime signaling its imminent downfall, as Nabil El-‘Araby mentioned in his statement about the need for: “togetherness at this juncture, because the matter has come to Damascus.” He added: “Without exaggeration, we have entered the final stages.”
The second issue is the spread of Islamic conditions in the revolution, until it came to cover the entire revolutionary scene on the ground. The international community started to see the banner of Al-‘Uqab fluttering on the military buildings, as the Agence France-Press correspondent reported that he saw the black flag of the Islamic battalions flying over the seized buildings. This report is reinforced by the statement of Mark Toner, US State Department Deputy Spokesman: “The presence of these extremist groups in Syria is a source of concern to us.”
O Muslims in the Revolution of Sham, the Revolution of the Islamic Ummah!
The disbeliever colonialist wants to sway your revolution and seize it away. He was offended by those who advocate Islam amongst you, and was worried by those who fly the flag of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم. You reached his mortal spot when you shouted, “Our Leader Forever is Prophet Muhammad” صلى الله عليه وسلم and you called clearly that the Khilafah state is your aim, rather than the civil, secular or democratic state.
Therefore, it has gathered its forces and brought your own sons to speak in your name and to stand as your representatives, where it will then give generously to them and to the followers, whom it brought, from its dollars. This matter that does not please Allah or His Messenger, is where America will finally control your revolution. You have to know that the good pleasure of Allah and pleasure of the West do not meet, the same as the truth and falsehood do not meet. So we either have to seek the good pleasure of Allah and establish the Deen the way Allah commanded, by establishing the rightly-guided Khilafah state, whereby we attain the happiness in Dunya and Akhira, or the manifest loss in this world and the Hereafter will be for those who follow the course of the West, America and Europe.
Allah سبحانه وتعالى says:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۘ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّهُمْ مِنْكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
فَتَرَى الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ يُسَارِعُونَ فِيهِمْ يَقُولُونَ نَخْشَىٰ أَنْ تُصِيبَنَا دَائِرَةٌ ۚ فَعَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَيُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا أَسَرُّوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ نَادِمِينَ
“O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and Christians as your friends; they are the friends of one another. Any of you who takes them as friends is one of them. Allah does not guide wrongdoing people. Yet you see those with sickness in their hearts rushing to them, saying, ‘We fear the wheel of fate may turn against us.’ But it may well be that Allah will bring about victory or some other contingency from Him. Then they will deeply regret their secret thoughts.”
(al-Maidah, 5:51-52)
