PRESS RELEASE

People from the intelligence agencies abducted the deputy spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir, Imran Yousafzai, from his home and transferred him to an unknown location. During this operation Mr. Yousafzai managed to contact one of Hizb's members over the phone and informed him about his condition.

Musharraf government, which is notorious for massacring its own citizens for American interests, cannot stop Hizb's growing activities through these cowardly acts. Hizb is that political party upon which the agent rulers have been slapping bans and torturing its members since 1958 in their quest to stop its activities. But in spite of this, Hizb has rapidly grown into the largest political party in the world, struggling in more than 40 countries under a single Ameer to establish the Khilafah. Recently held International Khilafah Conference in Indonesia, which was attended by roughly 100,000 participants is another proof of the growing popularity of Hizb ut-Tahrir and Ummah's desire for the Khilafah. This has perturbed and alarmed the colonialist masters and their agent Muslim rulers. Let Musharraf and his entourage know, banning Hizb ut-Tahrir or arresting its members cannot deter Hizb from its course or shake its resolve. Be it Musharraf or Karimov they will surely face defeat in their war against Islam. And the day is not far when the Khilafah is established and it will serve justice to them and their fellow Muslim rulers.
