9th June 2014, Chinese party newspaper says Western democracy only brings chaos. (Source: Reuters News) Quoted:
“Looking back at the ‘color revolutions’ which have occurred in recent years … how can we not say with deep feeling: rejoice that we have resolutely upheld socialism with Chinese characteristics. Otherwise, would China have peace?”
“From western Asia to North Africa, many countries have slipped into the confused madness of ‘western democracy’, which has neither brought happiness nor stability,” the paper said.
Comment:
This news released a week after the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen crackdown as reminder to the Chinese people not to take Democracy which is conflicted with the socialist ideology that they have been upheld for many years and against the Chinese Communist government administration.
Despite some benefit they have gained through adopting the western laws of capitalism, socialism is still the main ruling system for Chinese communist government.
History shows that Socialism has failed and countries adopting the system such as China and Russia were unable to provide a prosperity life to their citizen. While ignoring the failure of socialism to address its economy problem, China at the same time without any hesitance accepting the western rule of capitalism in their life. This is conflicting with the ideology of ruling system that they are proud of.
Though as GDP China has been showing a growth in numbers for the past few years, but in reality the economic inequality is still the same throughout China. The disparity between poor and rich is clear injustice which capitalism has created all over the world. The gap between rich and poor is getting wider by continuously implementing capitalism in China as the nature of this individualist system. Equality in wealth and justice which socialism has promoted are impossible and far to achieve in parallel with capitalism.
Human-made systems, Capitalism nor Socialism will never be able to address all humankind issues in the world. History has shown the collapse of communist countries and majority of population in the world are suffering while living in capitalist world.
Islam as the ideology that has proven for more than 1400 years has brought up peaceful life and prosperity to the 3/4 of the world including China. As Allah سبحانه وتعالى said in Qur’an,
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.”
(Al-Anbiya: 107)
One of the famous Chinese admirals and explorers Zheng He (Ma He) has lived in the 1400 centuries where a Muslim trading peacefully with other countries in the world, when Islam was implemented as system throughout the world. Islam is the complete ideology, rule of law from Allah سبحانه وتعالى inclusive of ruling system, economy system, social system, and judiciary system. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said in Quran,
الْيَوْمَ يَئِسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن دِينِكُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِ ۚ الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا
“This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.”
(Al-Maidah 5:3)
This system can’t be implemented partially but must be taken as whole complete system in life.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ادْخُلُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
“O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.”
(Al-Baqarah: 208)
