Once again, the anti-terror squad has been criticized and blamed for involvement in brutality against Muslims.
Launching its report on Monday 18/08/2014, human rights organizations have criticized the squadron for murder, kidnappings and for the disappearance of numerous terror suspects. “The anti-terror squad is killing innocent people and vanishing others even in front of senior government officials, embassy and even those of United Nations…” said Ms Leslie Lefkow, deputy commissioner of the organization. This news are not strange to the Muslims community inasmuch as their counterparts in Kenya. Since the formation and inauguration of ATPU in 2003, it has been committing all these heinous brutalities on a broad day light without the slightest tinge of humanity! A typical example of their atrocities is the brutish brazen arrest on a broad day light of Suleiman Swaleh Salim of Mombasa Majengo after Jumaa prayers early this month. Till today, his family does not know his whereabouts. Innocuous women have been rendered widows, children orphaned, and houses left devoid of young men! Unfortunately, whenever ATPU are admonished and reproved, they are agitated and thus instigated to commit more sins.
These murders are just part and parcel of the magnititude oppression being subjected to the Muslims in Kenya.
These atrocities don’t only involve the ATPU only, but have also devolved to other police forces. For example, in Eastleigh Nairobi, GSU personnel have been terrorizing Muslims by invading and beating up Muslims of Somali origin and later confining them in cold at the Kasarani. These brutalities were conducted under the pretext of what was termed as Operation Usalama Watch in April this year.
The ATPU have committed all these heinous and brutish atrocities with the surety and protection of America, a state with the worst history of lynching Muslims all over the world.
Apart from offering trainings to various forces under the pretext of fighting and combating terrorism, America goes a mile further to financially sponsor countries and security organizations to fight terrorism.According to a report written by two human rights organizations; Open Society Justice Initiative and Muslims for Human Rights gave a hint that in the year the ATPU was formed. It was offered a sum of $10m by America. Certainly until now it is still and continues to be sponsored by America.
Finally, we would to remind Muslims that all these atrocities being committed against them, is just a “meager” part of the real brutalities being subjected to the Muslims worldwide. Certainly, if we were to write a report of the brutal murder of innocent Muslims on the ongoing war, definitely it would cost us a stint of time and fill volume of books.
It is quite crucial to comprehend that this war is an insidious campaign against the raise of Islam to rule the world in an endeavor to give room for America to continue colonising the world both intellectually and practically. Most important is to understand that Muslims are the real target in this war because they possess a clean ideology capable of ruling the entire world and uprooting the colonial capitalist ideology being led by America. It is therefore significant to raise our voices to the highest pitch whenever we are faced by these humiliating incidents, while working tirelessly to re-establish our ideology in order to oversee all man’s life under the leadership of Khalifah who can stop oppression of the oppressors and proliferate justice to all creatures.
