Child Abduction – The New Weapon in the War Against the Muslims of Central Africa

On the 3rd of March 2014 UNICEF reported that 4 children aged 3-13 were reunited with their families after being abducted by a Christian Militia on the 24th February in the town of Bangui, Central African Republic (CAR). The siblings were taken as part a new and disturbing trend of child abduction that is rapidly emerging as the new tool of terror in the country’s ethnic cleansing of Muslims. UNICEF’s Abdou Dieng, Senior Humanitarian Coordinator in CAR, stated, “These abducted children have been through some terrifying days… during which time they were threatened to be killed….their mother died recently, and then they were taken away from their father”.

The UN has highlighted just one incident amongst the thousands of horrific acts of barbarity that are the daily routine of suffering being endured by the helpless women and children of CAR. On the 24th of February 2014, ABC News reported the story of 7 year old Ibrahim Adamou who was found by aid agencies after days of walking over 100 kilometers without food or shelter when his mother and father were killed in front of him. The fate of his 5 siblings is still unknown. More shocking than that is the fact that his story is identical to six other children under the age of 10 in the area of Carnot. The children of CAR are not only living in a state of political instability and violence but the current crisis has exacerbated famine conditions and malnutrition. It is also a factor ravaging the already weak and terrified amongst the young who are left exposed to the animalistic acts perpetrated by Christian gangs which is tolerated by secular democratic authorities and self-serving Western states as well as the heartless, cowardly regimes of the Muslim world.

The women of Hizb ut Tahrir do not accept to be a party to this injustice through our silence and we urge all Muslims to rally in their condemnation of Muslim leaders who play deaf to the screams of our women, dumb to the plight of our children and blind to the accounting of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and His order to mobilize an army to remove the oppression from the Muslims of CAR, Syria, Myanmar and many other Muslim lands. We call upon Muslims globally to work for the return of the Khilafah that will make such attacks against children impossible as was proven in the 8th century, when some Muslim women and children were taken as prisoner by a Hindu Raja Dahir in Sindh. General Mohammad Ibn Qasim was immediately dispatched by the Khilafah to rescue them with six thousand cavalry and six thousand armed cavalry drivers. He not only saved the Muslim women and children from their captures but also liberated the whole area of Sindh from the despotic Hindu rule. The women of Hizb ut Tahrir are working day and night under the leadership of the esteemed Scholar Sheikh Ata Bin Khalil Abu al-Rashtah, Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, serving the interests of the international Muslim community in working to urgently re-establishing the lofty political model of the Khilafah. This state will revive the historical precedence exemplified by the actions of Mohammad Ibn Qasim by mobilizing its army without hesitation to liberate the oppressed Muslim women and children without delay from their tormentors in response to the command of Allah سبحانه وتعالى:

“What reason could you have for not fighting in the Way of Allah – for those men, women and children who are oppressed and say, ‘Our Lord, take us out of this city whose inhabitants are wrongdoers! Give us a protector from You! Give us a helper from You!’?”
