The regime’s security forces in the city of Mafraq arrested last night on Monday, 23/06/2014 CE, one of the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, Brother Osama Mashaqba, and then transferred him to the State Security Court. He was arrested in front of a mosque in the city during his fulfilment of his duty to remind the Ummah of the plot to divide Iraq, based on the Press Release issued by Hizb ut Tahrir on 21st Sha’ban 1435 AH corresponding to 19/06/2014 CE under the title, “America is Dismantling Iraq, and Marching Behind it Spectra of the Kaffir Colonists. They Forget their Disputes as Long as the Matter is Ripping Muslims Land”.
The Press Release stated “..but the neighboring countries raced in highlighting sectarianism… all in the implementation of US policy, and marching behind it Britain, then the agents and the followers who do not want Iraq to be a unified entity, but want it to be a fragmented feuding divergent entity, killing each other! And each party clings stubbornly to have a territory, and the calls for provinces and divisions became publicly proclaimed… O people of Mesopotamia this matter will not be reformed except with a remedy from the start: ruling by what Allah has revealed, and jihad in the name of Allah … holding fast to the rope of Allah and breaking the bond with the enemies of Allah… the rejection of sectarianism and Madh’habism.”
In the face of this arrest and other arrests that befell the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, we assure the Ummah that Hizb ut Tahrir will continue to be the guide who does not lie to his people, and will remain the exposer of the plots of the Kaffir countries and their agents in the region, and the trusted guardian on Islam and its thoughts. It will remain together with you, confronting all attempts to tarnish its image and distort its Ahkam. So we invite you to work with us, to attain the glory of this world and the bliss of the Hereafter.
