Kazakhstan Government Accuses Muslim Woman of Extremism and then Punishes Her for Defending Her Husband!

E-mail Print PDF

This is One of Many Tragedies affecting the Muslims of Kazakhstan!

Natalia Foitkovoi, a mother of three, appeared in front of the Court of the City of Astana (the Kazakh capital) charged with the distribution of leaflets calling for extremism, according to Article 233, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan. A verdict was issued against her along with its implementation, sentencing her with house arrest, which means she was placed under a forceful arrest in her own house!

The justification of the verdict was built on the charge of distributing a letter to the public opinion in which she addressed the injustice of the judicial decision against her husband Galiolino Raviz taken in 2010, who was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment for the charge of belonging to Hizb ut Tahrir.

Raviz addressed the Kazakh public opinion through a video he directed in prison, speaking of the mistreatment of the prison administration against inmates, particularly the Muslims among them. He described the methods of torture and brutal ill-treatment practiced by the prison administration against their detainees, to the extent that they were commanded to prevent the prisoners from carrying out the most basic rituals of Islam, such as prayer and fasting. Raviz in his video recording reported of the extent of pressure imposed on him to dissuade him from the path in which he believes, and to force him to abandon his ideas and convictions.

After the leaking of the video, the prison administration proceeded to put Raviz into solitary confinement in the winter in a severely cold room without any heating or even a cover to shield him from the cold, and fed him only what was necessary for his survival. All of these barbaric, cowardly practices were only used to force him to abandon the ideas of Hizb ut Tahrir.

The security forces were not content with the unjust arrest of Raviz and the extent of injustice inflicted upon him, rather they went on to prosecute his wife, because she raised her voice loudly to address the public, exposing the truth and uncovering the injustice that occurred to her husband. She exposed to the people the extent of abuse and persecution inflicted on her husband, who had neither indulged in guilt nor committed a crime, through false issues pinned to Raviz and fake evidence presented, and even without the slightest regard for the existence of three young children who would suffer the bitterness of the absence of their father. On top of that they left the boys to live imprisoned with their mother in their home under house arrest with no breadwinner. The only offense they committed is being the wife and the sons of a pious and pure man that calls to Allah Almighty, and works with Hizb ut Tahrir to establish an Islamic Khilafah.

The unjust Kazakh system led by Nizar Payiv has revealed its true face in its war against Islam and Muslims. Hizb ut Tahrir was banned in March 2005 in this good Muslim country, and even prior to that date the security pursued the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir from all aspects, to arrest and throw them into prisons, which are packed with Shabab, we ask Allah to break their shackles and hasten their release, for He is their helper and the Best to rely upon.

Kazakhstan has witnessed many incidents where the Shabab of the Hizb were exposed to beatings and abuse, which led to the several martyrdoms. In the year 2010 Akhil Bek was tortured to death, bruises covered his pure body from the effects of torture, as well as some of his bones were broken. We consider him a martyr, we do not commend anyone to Allah, for Allah commends whom He pleases, Allah is His Master; He upholds the righteous.

It has become evident that this system, thirsty for the blood of Muslims, persists in its brutal barbarism, chasing and arresting and killing those who call for the establishment of the rule of Allah on earth, under the pretext of fighting terrorism and confronting terrorists and extremists, as recounted by the Kazakh media belonging to the regime. In fact they are devout Muslims, whose only concern is the work and the calling for the return of Islam to the reality of life as a constitution and way of life.

وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّـهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ

"The only reason they punished them was because they had iman in Allah, the Almighty, the All-Praiseworthy"

(Al Buruj, 85:8)

The unjust regime in Kazakhstan fights Islam with all its strength, from the arrest of Muslims, to planting the ideas of capitalism in society, and the promotion of pagan holidays such as New Years and Christmas, in an attempt to divert people from their Deen. The matter does not stop there, rather it exceeded to affect the worship of the people and their commitment to the rituals of Islam. The regime is pursuing every Muslim devout to prayer in the mosque, even lists have been drawn collecting the names of those adhering to the commands of Islam, placing them under tightened observation!

O Muslims in Kazakhstan:

The West has installed for you a man of your own race, but he is an enemy to you and your sons and your Deen, so rise to his ousting and his prosecution for what his hands have sacrificed of your blood. Work eagerly and with determination to establish the Islamic Khilafah State, which will end your bloodshed and safeguard your honor and the glory of your Deen.

"It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the Deen of Truth to exalt it over every other deen, even though the idolaters detest it."
