In the light of the cowardly attack against the Muharram procession on Karachi's MA Jinnah road on Monday 28 December, killing at least 40 Muslims and wounding dozens of others, Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan held nationwide demonstrations and sent a delegation to the Imambaragh.
Hizb ut-Tahrir strongly denounced the relentless campaign of bombings, funded and organized by America's agencies and private military organizations, such as Xe Services LLC (formerly known as Blackwater). Hizb ut-Tahrir condemned America's brutal tactics, which she has employed in Afghanistan and Iraq, and called for the immediate establishment of the Khilafah, which will unify the Muslims of the world and remove all colonialist presence from the Muslim Lands.

The U.S.A has already entrenched its military and intelligence on both sides of the Pakistani/Afghan border. British and American intelligence, along with mercenary armies have been active throughout the unstable frontier regions. Since Pakistan’s military commenced operations in the North West Frontier Province, this exacerbated tensions with those fiercely independent but traditional tribally administered areas. An increased deployments of N.A.T.O troops with additional mercenaries from contractors such as Blackwater, target Pakistan rather than insurgents active in Afghanistan. As the Anglo-American inspired aggression targets Pakistan as a ‘pariah state’, (whilst lining up Yemen, Somalia, and Persia as potential ‘rogue sates’); an ‘international’ consensus is being organised to justify taking these list of nations. China and Russia weigh the European and Anglo-American objectives with expect to their own positions in Central Asia, Western Asia, and the Indian Ocean. Since operations began in Afghanistan in October 2001, Pakistani’s have been rather complaint in allowing the ever increasing foreign influence (not limited to Anglo-American influence) to expand within the country. This intensifying conflict has pitched various ethnic groups and nationalist secessionists against each other. What was a stable region on Pakistan’s Afghan frontier has become a war of attrition. Pakistan’s government supported an unpopular foreign power to invade a country which has very close ethnic and cultural ties, with a common heritage. Consequently, what were once close groups of people were shattered and turns against each other in civil strife. To whose benefit could this possible serve? Pakistanis would gain little comfort in seeing the past track record of American intervention, referring to Indo-China and the expansion of conflict from Vietnam to the rest of Laos and Cambodia. America has exacerbated conflicts along similar lines in Panama, Nicaragua, Grenada, and Columbia. Now this tried and testing method of ‘organised mayhem’ is brought to Pakistan/Afghanistan.
