Bajwa-Nawaz Regime is Itself Responsible for Insecurity

The announcement of a long-awaited raise for employees of the Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) on 1 May 2017 was overshadowed by security concerns after agencies warned that the annual Labour Day ceremony at the installation may be targeted by terrorists. This perturbed Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan who was to be the chief guest at the ceremony, prompting him to question the “effectiveness and abilities” of security agencies that could not ensure the safety of sensitive installations such as POF.

The Bajwa-Nawaz regime itself is responsible for insecurity due to its blind alliance with the US and “restraint” before the ever hostile India. Indeed, the root cause of instability and chaos in Pakistan and the region is the US support of India and its notorious intelligence, RAW, because India alone lacks both the daring and the opportunity, unless it is facilitated by the US. The US presence in Afghanistan ensures a safe haven for RAW there, from which it strikes at Pakistan’s cities and sensitive military cantonments. Moreover, India’s eyes and ears within our cities are the American intelligence agencies and Raymond Davis network that our rulers allow to roam around without restriction.

The Bajwa-Nawaz regime is to blame for allowing our enemies to conduct attacks over the country through their inaction. It misdirects our security apparatus and send them after the tail of the snake at great personal risk, whilst directing them away from the US presence. It is only with a sincere Islamic leadership that the security apparatus will finally be directed to cut the head of the snake, which is the US presence on our soil and in our region. Within hours, US private military and intelligence can be rounded up and expelled, with their lairs sealed for good. It is upon the sincere officers in the armed forces of Pakistan to grant Nussrah for the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood which will change our situation from that of fear to that of safe security.

“Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice their Deen which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) will worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).”

(Surah an-Noor 24:55)

Undermining Islam becomes the Habit of Pakistan’s Rulers

As reported in Dawn on 27 April 2017, Mashal, 23, a student of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan (AWKUM) was shot and beaten to death by a violent mob on university premises on April 13. Police officials said that he had been accused of running Facebook pages “which allegedly published blasphemous content”. Addressing the press on 26 April 2017, the DIG said police had acquired CCTV footage of the incident. He added that after conducting investigations, police had arrested a man identified as Imran, who is suspected of having shot the 23-year-old student.

Mashal Khan, a student of Abdul Wali Khan University, was killed on 13th April in an incident where he was shot, after being publicly beaten with sticks and bricks by a mob, due to alleged blasphemy. Instead of being concerned with the victim, the regime and its liberal mouthpieces exploited the incident as an opportunity to undermine Islam itself and promote secularism. The regime ran a campaign linking laying the blame on Islam, even though it is the enforcement of secularism and non-implementation of Islam which leads to mobs taking the law into their own hands. Scrutinizing the issue of mob action, we find that this is not the first case of its kind. Moreover, cases are not limited to the blasphemy issue, such as several cases where the mob publicly punished robbers. The masses are at a tipping point where they do not expect the system to secure justice in society, when Islam would be implemented and the honor of RasulAllah would be protected. Instead the rulers ensure security for those who are found engaged in blasphemous activities, such as the recent case of secular bloggers who were allegedly involved in such activities but were granted safe exit abroad. The society at large is detached from the rulers and Democracy, which is the root of the prevailing injustice and attacks on Islam.

Democracy provides the right of legislation to the rulers whereby they are able to make laws according to their whims, safeguarding themselves and their interests. In Democracy, the rulers get amnesty for their large scale corruption, whilst the masses, deprived of their basic needs, are subjected to severe punishment for crimes of far lesser degree. Not only has the system completely failed in providing security and justice, but has also failed to protect the honor of RasulAllah , which is a grave concern for Muslims. The failure of Democracy in promoting Islam, protecting the honor of Islam and RasulAllah , providing justice and security to the masses, has provoked some into taking the law into their own hands.

Contrary to Democracy, in the Khilafah, the Khaleefah does not have the right of legislation. He only implements the laws mandated by the Quran and Sunnah. Since the Khaleefah cannot legislate, he cannot secure his personal interests through manipulating laws. The Khilafah upon the Method of Prophethood will provide justice and security to each every one of its subjects. It is only the Khilafah which will implement Islam, protect and defend the honor of RasulAllah and the history of the Khilafah is testimony. It is only through the return of the Khilafah that Muslims will be engaged in the Islamic political system, whereby they will be able to account the rulers according to that which they hold dearest, Islam. It is only the Khilafah that can end the sense of deprivation and the detachment of the masses. RasulAllah said, «إنما الإمام جنة يقاتل من ورائه ويتقى به»The Imaam (Khaleefah) is a Shield, they fight behind him and are protected by him” [Muslim]

Elimination of Corruption Mandates a Court of Unjust Acts Ruling by Islam

The anxiously-awaited formation of the six-man joint investigation team (JIT) on the Panama Papers was further delayed on 3 May after a special bench of the Supreme Court expressed its dissatisfaction with the representatives suggested by the central bank and the regulator of the corporate sector. “We expect people with integrity,” observed Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, who heads the three-judge bench for the implementation of the judgement in the Panama Papers case. According to the April 20 judgment, lists of potential appointees were to be submitted by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), National Accountability Bureau (NAB), State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Military Intelligence (MI) and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) within a week of the verdict.

The entire handling of the Panama Paper case has made a mockery of accounting the ruler and highlight the urgent need for the Khilafah’s Court of Unjust Acts. Even if “people with integrity” are found for the tribunal, corruption will remain, because their criterion are the corrupt laws of Democracy, rather than Islam. Islam is characterized by its swift and fair justice when accounting the rulers and the disposal cases against Waalis during the time of Khaleefah Umar and the example of the Jew winning the case of the shield against the Khaleefah Ali (ra) because the Judge refused the witness of the son of the Khaleefah are embedded in the hearts and minds of the Muslims. The corner stone of Islam’s judiciary was fair, swift and sure justice. Moreover, Shariah was a standard for world civilization for thirteen centuries, inspiring the Western nations to revise their legal and ruling frameworks, for example, the Islamic Shariah influenced France’s Napoleonic Code, Britain’s Magna Carta and the US Constitution.

However, settling the disputes, accounting the rulers is now in an appalling state in the Muslim World since the abolition of the Shariah which was implemented through the Khilafah.  The Shariah was abolished firstly under the Western occupation, that began in the eighteenth century, and then through the abolition of the Khilafah in 1342 AH which is 1924 CE . Since then the criterion has become the human mind in defining the issue of crime, conviction and punishment. Now the Muslim World implements Kufr laws, with a selective implementation of Islam. This has led to rulers being able to openly wage oppression upon the citizens, regardless of their school of thought, gender, religion and race. The rulers flagrantly ignore Islamic laws such as those forbidding interest, alliance with enemies, privatization of public property such as energy, division of Muslim Lands by nationalist borders. The people sense that the privileged rulers escape punishment whilst the weak in society are falsely implicated in cases, with prolonged court cases involving rulers and politicians to buy them time.

Unlike Democracy, in Islam, it is Allah (swt) Who has revealed the laws regarding the crime, its testimonial evidence and punishment. Allah (swt) said,

أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ

Should not He Who has created know And He is the Most Kind and Courteous, All-Aware.)”

(Surah al-Mulk 67:14)

Islam is the firm basis of the judiciary in the Khilafah. Ignorance (Jahl) is other than Islam, including the British law, French penal codes and all other forms of Kufr. The judge, whether he is a man or women, Hanifi or Jafari, must be knowledgeable in Islam for he or she will judge by it. And the one who judges by other than Islam is in Hellfire, Rasullah said in the authentic hadith, «الْقُضَاةُ ثَلَاثَةٌ: وَاحِدٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَاثْنَانِ فِي النَّارِ، فَأَمَّا الَّذِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَجُلٌ عَرَفَ الْحَقَّ فَقَضَى بِهِ، وَرَجُلٌ عَرَفَ الْحَقَّ فَجَارَ فِي الْحُكْمِ، فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ، وَرَجُلٌ قَضَى لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى جَهْلٍ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ»The judges are of three types: one is in heaven, the other is in fire. As for the one who is Jannah, he is the man who knows the truth and judges by it, whereas the one who knows the truth and aggrieves it in judgment, he is in fire. And the man who judges for the people on ignorance is also in fire.” [Abu Dawud]

So in Islam, as it is the will of Allah that is imposed through the judiciary there is no favoritism or privilege based on power or status or any other matter. There is no immunity for the ruler in his violation of Islam and any ruler, be it the Khaleefah or a Wali, that seeks guidance from IMF, ISAF, UN or the US State Department will be brought for immediate trial. Moreover, even the Khaleefah has no right to remove the judge over his case once it is under process, a far cry from Nawaz Sharif and Musharraf’s tussles with the judiciary.
