Dutch Far-Right Leader Geert Wilders says EU Should Refuse Entry to All Muslim Migrants
Geerts Wilders, leader of the Freedom Party, made the comments in the wake of the latest attack in Germany in which a Syrian migrant blew himself up in Ansbach in the name of ISIS, injuring 15. He accused the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and German chancellor Angela Merkel of opening to door to terrorists by not controlling immigration over EU borders. In an article for Breibart last month, Wilders urged Muslims to turn their back on Islam, telling them to ‘opt for freedom. He wrote: ‘Islam is a totalitarian ideology. Muslims are its victims. Just imagine you’re a gay person in a Muslim family. Just imagine you’re a Muslim girl wanting to marry a non-Muslim. Just imagine being a Muslim wanting to convert to Christianity or any other religion or become an atheist. ‘It is in the interest of our own Western civilisation, but also in the interest of the Muslims themselves, that we encourage as many Muslims as possible to turn their backs on Islam and become Christians or atheists or whatever… The more Muslims freeing themselves from Islam and the yoke of Muhammad, the better’. The politician is leading the opinion polls ahead of national elections in the Netherlands next year. He is a supporter of Republicans and fellow right-wing presidential candidate Donald Trump because ‘he defends the interests of his own people’, according to The Times.  [Source: Daily Mail]

The rise of the far right in Europe is espousing strong views against Islam and Muslims, and these views are increasingly being supported by the European masses. Fortress Europe to bar Muslims from entering and living is looking more probable by the day.

Muslim Women Severely Beaten For Carrying Beef in India

Two Muslim women have reportedly been beaten up at a train station in India on suspicion of carrying beef. The women were reportedly about to be arrested after police were tipped off that they were travelling with a large quantity of beef to sell. The two women were reportedly beaten by a mob shouting “Gau Mata Ki Jai (Hail holy cow)”, NDTV reports. Video footage broadcast on local TV shows a mob slapping the women at a train station Mandsaur, in Madhya Pradesh. Police recovered 30kg of meat from the women, which was later discovered to be buffalo meat, the Indian Express reports. However, the women were reportedly still charged because they did not have a permit to sell meat. Hindus consider cows to be sacred and the slaughter of cows is banned in many Indian states. Earlier this month, protesters from India’s low-caste community attacked government buses and blocked roads in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state in demonstrations over the flogging of four men accused of skinning a cow. Indian politicians routinely brag about India’s status as the largest democracy in the world, however, the truth of the matter is that Muslims are marginalized and treated as third class citizens. Muslims are not only punished by Hindu zealots for eating and selling beef, but they are impoverished by Hindu state. Indian Muslims account for 14.4 percent of the total Indian population yet are among the poorest segment. The Sachar committee report claims that as much as 31 percent, precisely one-third of Indian Muslims dwell below the poverty line.

Pakistan Puzzled over U.S. Continuous Criticism of its Anti-terrorism Efforts

The Pakistani policy makers appear “puzzled” over Washington’s conduct with regard to its relationship with Islamabad. The “extremely opposing views” emanating from within the U.S. Congress about Pakistan’s counter-terrorism policies and efforts to promote peace in Afghanistan have troubled several Pakistani policy makers.   Pakistan and the United States have had a phase of uneasy relations over allegations that Islamabad’s counter-terrorism operations focus only on militants linked to the anti-state Pakistani Taliban, and spare sanctuaries linked to Afghan militants, including the Haqqani Network terrorist group, reports Voice of America. It was not long ago that the U.S Congress prevented the Obama administration from subsidizing the sale of eight F-16 fighter planes to Pakistan. The recent US Congressional hearing under the title “Pakistan: Friend or foe” has further infuriated the Pakistani senators. Some lawmakers and witnesses during the hearing demanded Washington to cut off all financial and military aid to Islamabad, accusing the Pakistan military of maintaining ties with Taliban and Haqqani militants fighting the U.S.-backed Afghan government. Former U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan and United Nations, Zalmay Khalilzad, had even urged the United States to adopt a policy of total isolation against Islamabad and turn it into a “second North Korea” to force it to cooperate for peace in Afghanistan. However, senior Pakistani officials were quick to belittle this Congressional hearing and dismissed anti-Pakistan assertions there as “baseless concerns” of a section of U.S lawmakers. Why is Pakistan surprised?!  America has sacrificed Pakistan to make India its principal agent in the sub-continent. By doing so, America has relegated Pakistan’s role to that of a security guard to safeguard India’s borders from terror attacks.
