The regime in Tunisia imposed a transit tax amounting to thirty dinars on every vehicle that enters Tunisia on our brethren from Algeria. And the extremity worsened despite protests from our people in Algeria for more than once, and despite the resentment of all the sons of Al-Khadhra, since the procedure, to say the least, is a shame, a scandal and unfitting, rather it is unacceptable between brothers… especially when compared to as promised by the rulers of the Arab Maghreb for decades of Union, unity, common market and the abolition of the passport requirement for mobility… and many as such!
The matter became more complicated when it seemed that “in Tunisia there is an influential side – a puppet of course – pushing for spoiling the file with Algeria and exploiting it” as expressed by the Algerian ambassador in Tunisia. Among the signs of the aggravation is to prevent the Algerian ambassador to meet senior officials in Tunisia, including the head of state. And it got even more complicated when Algeria announced reciprocity imposing fees on visitors to Algeria from Tunisia, so the public opinion realized the extent of ridiculousness of these rulers and the seriousness of this compliance.
What mud and what mold is this that these rulers put us in, and what criminality do they implement on us?
In Tunisia they dissipate immense wealth for the benefit of the foreigners, that reached the extent of systematic and intense plunder. They try to flatter the looting Petrofac Company which is wanted by the judiciary in Tunisia after an investigative committee’s report, and then they hanker for 30 Dinars from our brothers in Algeria!
Algeria, and do you know what is Algeria? Is it not time for it to come out of the silent internal conspiracies between the wings and the consequent gaps for foreign intrigues?! Is it not time for Algeria to cease, pack up, and resolve and then rightly assume the leadership of the region, rather the entire Ummah with a cherished project that pleases Allah and His Messenger, and achieve the final salvation for everyone?! Is it not time for Algeria to emerge from the minor petty battles to the mother of all battles, as it is endowed with the heritage of struggle against colonialism which is considered a role model for everyone?! It is Algeria, the rich in everything, and the first of its riches is its Islam… It is a historic opportunity and to squander it is unforgivable…
Hizb ut Tahrir considers Muslims as one nation, as Allah and His Messenger ﷺ commanded, and calls on Muslims to reject the artificial conditions imposed by the Kaffir colonizer on them which separates between them based on fake borders drawn by the colonist to break up the unity of Muslims, and to facilitate its looting of the wealth and enslaving the country and the people. And perhaps many Muslims in North Africa from Tunisia to Algeria to Morocco and Senegal have forgotten that French colonialism recruited thousands of their forefathers to fight in order to impose its authority with iron and fire on Muslims in Ash-Sham, and here are the graves testify to that.
So O you Muslims!
Your pride is in your servitude to the Lord of the Worlds, and in your refusal of slavery to colonialism and what it imposed of systems and laws opposing Allah and His Messenger. And your Lord is one Lord, your Prophet is one, your Book is one and your Qiblah is one, so hold fast all together by the rope of Allah and work with Hizb ut Tahrir for the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah State (Caliphate) that implements the Shariah of Allah so that you may prosper in both realms and attain the pleasure of your Lord, and you return to be as your forefathers were, the best nation out of people. Allah سبحانه وتعالى says:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ
“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.”
(Al-Anfal: 24)
