President Erdogan visited Russia with a crowded delegation on Tuesday, 9th of August. During this visit, after deteriorated relations due to the plane crises, a number of agreements between Turkey and Russia have been achieved in the fields of construction, tourism, energy and trade. However the most important topic of this visit is without doubt the Syria issue, as negotiations regarding the Syria issue were discussed by the delegations in a separate meeting.
It is obvious that the most significant topic of the agreement between Turkey and Russia is the Syrian issue, because the cause for the deterioration of relations was the downing of the Russian war plane at the border to Syria. Now the Syrian issue constitutes the most important motive to improve relations. This is because the US goes to all lengths to support and sustain the Syrian regime. It already tried Iran and its massacres in Lebanon, Russia’s intensive air strikes, and the Riyadh and Geneva negotiations through the hands of Saudi Arabia; but it failed in various ways and to subdue the Syrian people. Now America prepares a new plan over the Turkish-Russian partnership in the fight against terror in Syria. Within this context, the consensus between Turkey and Russia on the Syria issue is developing neither with the will of Turkey nor of Russia, because the owner and planner of this consensus is America.
During his visit to the USA in March, President Erdogan stated in an interview with Christiane Amanpour on CNN, “The USA is the country who leads the work”, and added afterwards that “Turkey wants to be an active part of the coalition forces.” Yet the same Erdogan made the following statement before his visit to Russia: “The most important step and primary actor in bringing peace to Syria is the Russian Federation.” Previously Erdogan asked repeatedly, “What is Russia doing in Syria when it has no borders to it?” And now he says: “I think that we, Russia and Turkey, should resolve this [Syria] issue by taking a step together.” This change in Erdogan’s rhetoric and his swiftness is proof that he is not determinant/active but passive in the Syrian issue. And it is America that forces him to this hurriedness. Because both the Russian and the Turkish rulers know that America is the leading player in the Syrian issue.
Oh Rulers! Why don’t you put Islam and the Muslims in the centre of your political actions? Why do you implement the American plans who act according to the circumstances and situations just as the English who were behind the coup attempt? Why do you aspire to please them and implement their evil plans? How can you accept Russia for friend, when it deems any kind of oppression proper towards the Muslims in Turkestan and Syria, and who still slaughters hundreds of innocent children in Syria while you strive for an agreement with them? Or have you not heard of your Lord’s words?
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ بِطَانَةً مِّن دُونِكُمْ لاَ يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالاً وَدُّواْ مَا عَنِتُّمْ
“Oh you who have believed! Do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship.”
(Al-i İmran 118)
O Muslims and refugees in Turkey! Take only Allah for friend and those who take Him for friend, and be foe to those who are enemies to Allah and the Muslims. Never despair of Allah’s help and the Second Khilafah Rashidah (Caliphate) upon the Method of Prophethood heralded by Rasulallah ﷺ. Do not forget that in this time all Muslims have become strangers and oppressed in their own country. Because not ruling with what Allah has revealed has abandoned the Muslims, the oppressed and the strangers. You took refuge in Turkey fleeing oppression in your homelands and asked for the help of the Ottoman descendants. However you are now deported for the sake of trade agreements and handed over to the Russian bear. Keep in mind that Allah Azza wa Jell who watched over the Sahabah migrating to Abyssinia, and Who truly protected them through the establishment of the Islamic State in Medina, will surely save you from abandonment and oppression through the re-establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah, biiznillah. For the like of this let the workers work!
