Who Are the Hawks and Who Are the Poultry?

The hen stood in front of the falcon and said to him, “Why do you fly high and live in the high places, don’t you see that you are small in number? Come with us and enter our coop, there are those who feed us and we do not tire ourselves by flying, and we are not threatened by a wolf!!”

The falcon laughed heartily and said: “When you fly high you will feel the ecstasy of pride, dignity and glory. When you live above you will be envied by the people who live in the valley. And when you eat what you gain with effort, you will find the sweetness of effort and hard work and you will know the meaning of life. Don’t you see that the one who feeds you, feeds you from the remnants of his food, his food is what he slaughters from your chicks, and he takes your eggs, and locks you up the whole time under the pretext of the “wolf”?”

The hen laughed and said: “You speak incomprehensible words like ecstasy, dignity, glory, pride, and life, I think you are crazy or you’re about to go mad.”

The falcon said to her, “I understand what you say, because you were born in a cage and lived in it, and you will not understand what I say until after you get out of this prison and liberate yourself from those who raised you with this logic!!” (slightly adapted).

This imaginary dialogue between the falcon and the hen depicts reality as it is in the human world. The hen, from poultry, shows us the meaning of domestication, and gives the idea of the logic of those who are being tamed. Those who have lived for decades under the domestication have a hard time understanding the logic of the hawks, and will never understand them until they get out of the cages and fly high with the free hawks.

In the human world you find people who think of themselves as free hawks, and in fact, like poultry, are satisfied with living in cages. But many people in the world of human beings view themselves as proud people seeking elevation, but in fact they are moved by the stick like the livestock, you do not see in them any chivalry, dignity or pride.

You may find in the world of people those who tell you about themselves as being lions and when tested during the trials and tribulations their tongues are muted and the intensity of fear make them tremble like a scared rabbit.

Everyone in the human world refuses to be described as poultry and they are proud if they are likened to falcons. But do we believe the hen if she claimed to be a falcon, eagle or vulture, and do we disbelieve the falcon and lower its status to a chicken?

In the world of human beings, one has no choice but what he chooses for himself, and what he describes himself is of no avail, if he calls himself a brave knight, a free man, and not a subjugated slave. The situation reflects the truth regardless of what is said. There are things that witness to the truth of the person, if his words matched his situation, he is truthful, and if they don’t then he is a liar. Because hawks are free and do not need to show people their truth, and poultry birds cannot hide their status from people. Either we are free hawks or we are like chickens from poultry.

The only way to know our situation is when we each look at our conditions and conditions of the people we mix with, and the condition of people to whom we belong to. That is, we have to look at the human, his thoughts, feelings, convictions, behavior, and what he finds peace in. We also look at people and their conditions.

Looking and considering the following, each of us will know the truth of his status, if he is honest, he will judge himself as a free hawk or a domesticated poultry.

First: One should consider the way one has chosen for oneself. If you have chosen the way set by Allah (swt) and followed the Qur’an and Sunnah in every big and small issue, and took Islam as your ideology, and sought to establish it today in real life after this long absence, and refused to bow down to the existing man-made systems, and sacrificed yourself and your wealth and your children for the victory and glory of Islam and Muslims,  and resisted the hegemony of the kaffir colonial states that control us through their agents, and struggled against them and exposed their conspiracies and plans. Then know that the process of domestication has failed on you and that you are a free hawk flying high to dominate with your Islam over all man-made ideologies. Because Allah (swt) says:

هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ

“It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allah dislike it”

(At-Tawba: 33)

And Allah (swt) says:

وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

“And to Allah belongs (all) honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know”

(Al-Munafiqun: 8)

And Allah (swt) says:

وَلَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا

“And never will Allah give the disbelievers over the believers a way (to overcome them).

(An-Nisa’: 141)

But if you choose the man-made system developed by the weak, deficient and needy man with the limited mind, and imported from the Western Kaffir the man-made ideas and concepts and restricted yourself to it in all the affairs of your life or in some of them, and called for it and sought in its way to be the one implemented and the one ruling life, like Democracy and Socialism, and became its defender, and submitted to it and those who apply it on you, and resisted those who stand against it and fight it …  Know that the process of domestication did not fail you and you became domesticated poultry.

Secondly, if you see yourself as one of the members of this good Ummah, the carrier of the message of Muhammad ﷺ, and you see that you are charged with carrying this message to the world to spread Islam, and you do not recognize the borders that imprison you inside and separate you from your Ummah, and you are working to remove it to reunite the Islamic world again. … Know that you are a free hawk who refuses to live in the cages that you were put in.

But if you are satisfied with the divisions of “Sykes -Picot” and proud of the patch that they imprisoned you in, and proud to lift the rag they designed for you, and are overwhelmed with patriotic feelings and ecstatically echoing with those singing the national anthem, and you maintain the existing borders and fight for its survival, and consider the sons of your Ummah and your brothers in other homelands as foreigners, and you are participating in the aggression against them in the name of patriotism and the defense of the homeland … If these are your feelings and your conviction, know that you are poultry satisfied in the prison in which you were imprisoned and the cage that they put you in.

Thirdly: If you know that what is above and below the earth is the provision that Allah has given you, and that you have the right to own it according to the rules of ownership and types of property, and that the wealth that is under the hands of the Ummah cannot be appropriated by other colonial countries unlawfully, and that you are working to separate the greedy capitalist states from your wealth and economics, and you are aware that the problem of poverty and unemployment is caused by the hegemony of the capitalist states on the world’s resources. And that you are working to move the Ummah to stand in the face of this plundering and depletion of wealth. At the same time, you recognize that the wealth on the land of Islam from oil and gas, salt, phosphate etc. are the right for the whole ummah and not for some countries and geographical patches identified by the ruler of the evil English and French men, Sykes-Picot. If you reached this level of awareness, know that you are a free hawk that is not held back by restrictions and is not deprived by borders from Allah’s sustenance.

If you see that the traitorous agent who rules over you as kind, due to what he throws to you from the remnants of crumbs, food and give your riches to your enemies and the enemies of the Ummah. You also disagree and mock the one who tells you that the wealth in other Muslim countries is the property of all Muslims wherever they are; and find it strange. And you are convinced of the words of the corrupt rulers and believe their lies that the countries are poor and has no wealth and you support them in bringing foreign investment projects on your land, and are happy to get a job in these companies that use your countrymen as slaves in the development of their wealth, know that you are just like poultry that the waste and the remains of the masters’ tables are thrown to. Allah (swt) says:

Say, “Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good (lawful) things of provision?” Say, “They are for those who believe during the worldly life (but) exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection.” Thus do We detail the verses for a people who know”

(Al-A’raf: 32)

And Allah (swt) says:

هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًا فَامْشُوا فِي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا مِنْ رِزْقِهِ وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

“It is He who made the earth tame for you – so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision and to Him is the resurrection.”

(Al-Mulk: 15)

Fourth: If you see that you are an integral part of the body of this dear Ummah, and you see that those who pronounce the Shahadatain are your brothers in the Deen, and that your Ummah is one Ummah regardless of the different races, ethnicity, genealogies, colours and tongues, and that the believers are brothers because Allah (swt) says:

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

“The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy”

(Al-Hujurat: 10)

And you work to resist the ideas that tear up the body of the Ummah to scattered conflicting people and nationalities, and trample your foot on every manifestation of ignorance, whether tribal or sectarian as reported by Ibn Hibban in his Saheeh from Ubay bin Ka’ab that he said: “I saw a father saw a man who consoled someone in the way of the people of ignorance, he bit him and did not call him with his Kunya, then he said: I may see in yourselves – or in yourself – if I heard it not but say it, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say:

«مَنْ تَعَزَّى بِعَزَاءِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، فَأَعِضُّوهُ، وَلَا تَكْنُوا»

“If someone consoles people in the way people consoled each other in the days of the Jahiliyya, then bite him, and do not use his kunya.”‘

And in the Sunnan of Abu Daoud from Abu Hurairah (ra), he said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Allah, Most High, has removed from you the pride of the pre-Islamic period and its boasting in ancestors. One is only a pious believer or a miserable sinner. You are sons of Adam, and Adam came from dust. Let the people cease to boast about their ancestors. They are merely fuel in Jahannam; or they will certainly be of less account with Allah than the beetle which rolls dung with its nose.

If you follow this line and take pride in your belonging to the Ummah of Islam, then you are the free, proud and freed of the disease of ignorance.

If you are infected with the disease of ignorance, and eaten by its worms until you are afflicted with the mould of the ignorance of Jahiliyah, then you will be proud of your homeland or your nationality. You see your identity in belonging to the sand of the land and your ethnicity lies in your family tree, and hate all those who do not belong to your country, and do not descend from your ethnicity, and you call for separation and self autonomy, and you refuse to speak the language of the Qur’an and prefer the foreign languages over it. Know that the colonizer Kaffir who introduced this malicious behavior has succeeded in his plan for you and it has yielded. So you hate your Ummah and say proudly: “I am Arab, I am Kurdish, I am Amazigh, I’m Twarani, I’m Persian, I’m Saudi, I’m from the Gulf, I am Algerian”. And we see you during the artificial skirmishes and artificial strife rushing to your race, your ethnicity and your cage as every irrational dumb creature does when it runs to its faction, ethnicity, its den, burrow, hole and nest.

Fifthly: If you know that Islam came to liberate you from slavery and restore your dignity as a free person, and you know that no one has sovereignty over you except the rule of Shariah, and that you have the authority. You are the one who chooses who rule you with Allah’s system and implements the rules of the Book and Sunnah. And you reject injustice, oppression, and gagging the mouths, and you fear only Allah (swt) do not accept what the oppressors do. Due to the saying of Allah (swt):

وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنْصَرُونَ

“And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped”

(Hud: 113)

And be ready to sacrifice yourself to remove the Kufr systems and demolish the thrones of the tyrant rulers and work to resume the Islamic way of life and establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood, and that you are not scared of the police’s stick  and it does not stop you from carrying the truth, and that the darkness of prisons do not scare you, and the gallows’ ropes do not stop you from seeking martyrdom for the sake of the glory of Islam and Muslims, and that life is tasteless unless Islam alone is its color; and you see that human beings need to be brought out from darkness to light, know and be sure that you are a free falcon flying in space and seek elevation.

But if you see the dictator who rules you with iron and fire, and applies Kufr laws, and you see his injustice, oppression and silencing people, and prevent the livelihoods, and see how he watches you with his intelligence and security men, and how he follows around your movements and rests, and see that he forbids you from engaging in politics, and prevents you from accounting him and accounting his staff in power, and cuts your tongue if you speak and break your pen that you write with, and you see his henchmen breaking into your home and take your children from you and take them to prisons, and see how he befriends the kaffir colonialists and take them as consultants, and allows them to build military bases on your land and authorizing them to open dens to spy on you, and gives them what he deprives you, and yet you consider him as the protector of the homeland and justify his oppression and explain why he rules with Kufr and give him excuses and say that he is the master who will protect you from wolves and your guardian whom Allah commanded you to obey him, and pray for his long life and the length of stay on the throne of ruling …

Know that you are from poultry, and your logic is no different from the logic of the hen in her dialogue with the falcon.

These five, which I mentioned to you, are enough for you to know your reality and you know if you are a hawk or a poultry!

And let me say frankly: my words will be soothing and peaceful on the free hawks, and will be annoying and provocative to some and incomprehensible to others, and may be a catalyst for another party, and anyone who was concerned about them and did not like them should ask himself why?

And my advice in the end:

لِمَنْ كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ

“Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present (in mind)”

(Qaf: 37)

Liberate yourself from cultural, media, social, economic and political domestication, and liberate yourself from the domestication of religious merchants, the scholars of the sultans (rulers) who monopolized the platforms and the satellite channels, liberate yourself and return to your Ummah and do not aid the oppressors against it and remain silent. If you reject my advice, I cannot find other words for you from the words of Allah Almighty in the verse:

وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَحْيَاءُ وَلَا الْأَمْوَاتُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَمَا أَنْتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ * إِنْ أَنْتَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ

“And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves. You, (O Muhammad), are not but a warner.

(Fatir: 22-23)
