China US Conflict Intensifies over arrest of Huawei Founder’s Daughter

According to the Washington Post:

The U.S.-China relationship seemed to improve last week at the G-20 summit in Argentina, where President Trump announced that he’d reached an important agreement with President Xi Jinping. Then, an ominous development: American authorities asked Canada to arrest the CFO of one of China’s largest technologies companies for alleged sanctions fraud and violations of U.S. export controls. Meng Wanzhou isn’t just a top leader at Huawei, which makes phones and other gadgets; she is also the daughter of the company’s founder and chairman, which makes her arrest somewhat like the Chinese arresting the daughter of Steve Jobs if she had helped run Apple. It would be an understatement to say that Beijing did not react well: It demanded her release and accused the U.S. government of violating the rights of a Chinese citizen.

The United States is engaging in complex grand strategy against its ascendant Chinese opponent, with trade issues as just one front in this sophisticated play. Huawei’s importance comes from its increasing global dominance of advanced communications technologies in addition to its close association with the Chinese Communist Party, as is common for all large Chinese ‘private’ corporations. America itself is a key reason for the success of companies like Huawei. America had followed a path of engaging with China in a manner similar to its post-WW2 policy approach towards its then enemies, Japan and Germany, manipulating their trajectories so that they become economic rather than military powers. But US success then was almost guaranteed by America’s position as post-war occupying power in both those countries, whereas China has continued to be controlled internally by its Communist Party, which embraced all of America’s commercial incentives while at same time building up formidably real military and political power.

The threatening spectre of Chinese supremacy is however built on a basic flaw, which is the failure of the Communist ideology as a genuine solution for mankind. The Soviet bloc collapsed 30 years ago and the Chinese Communist Party has so amended its doctrine as to make it almost indistinguishable at this stage from Capitalism as atheistic Communism has long ago been exposed for the ugly oppressive reality of its thoughts and systems. But with Allah’s permission, the secular materialist Western Capitalist ideology is also not far behind, built as it is on a false compromise with an earlier version of atheistic thinking.

Ousted Malaysian Prime Minister channels Islamic identity into Malay nationalism

According to Reuters:

Tens of thousands of Malay Muslims rallied in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday to celebrate the Malaysian government’s refusal to ratify a UN convention against racial discrimination.

After weeks of pressure by pro-Malay groups, Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad’s multi-ethnic government decided last month that it would not ratify the convention, without giving a reason why it was going back on an earlier commitment to sign.

Groups representing Malays, who account for around 60 percent of Malaysia’s multi-ethnic population, raised fears that signing the UN pledge could have undermined Malay privileges and threatened Islam’s status as Malaysia’s official religion.

The entire Muslim Ummah finds itself in the extraordinary position of living under the rule of ex-colonial systems that were built on Western values contradicting Islam. The Muslim political class that was built by these systems is forever attempting to negotiate the profound chasm between foreign-imposed political ideas and genuinely indigenous Islamic thoughts and emotions. It falls to politicians like Najib Razak to carry off a Western agenda fuelled by Islamic sentiments through manipulating those loyal to Islam into supporting the Western ideal of nationalism. With Allah’s permission, the world will soon see the rise of indigenous ideological leadership that will pay no regard to false Western ideals and manifest Islam in every thought, word and deed, and leading the Ummah to the re-establishment of the righteous Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophet ﷺ.

American continues to use Syrian town of Manbij as leverage over Turkey

According to Reuters:

Turkey and the United States have agreed to speed up efforts to put in place an agreement on Syria’s Manbij by the end of the year, a working committee between the NATO allies said on Friday.

Earlier this year, Turkey and the United States reached a deal over Syria’s Manbij, after months of disagreement, under which the Kurdish YPG militia is to completely withdraw from the town. Ankara, which considers the YPG a terrorist organization, says the withdrawal has yet to happen.

During Friday’s meeting the two sides also agreed to continue to work on joint planning with regard to other areas, as mentioned in the Manbij roadmap.

Instead of maintaining loyalty to the Muslims in Syria and their revolution against the brutal Assad dictatorship as he has repeatedly claimed he is committed to, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is in fact only interested in his narrow view of Turkish interests viewed through his domestic anti-Kurd political agenda.

It is America that has been choreographing every aspect of the war in Syria, employing allies and agents who foolishly serve the superpower’s agenda without realising America is more dependent on them then they are on America. The US is undoubtedly the world’s foremost power but its ability to project force deep into Muslim land has been proven to be a mirage. The only power preventing the re-establishment of the Khilafah State is the limitations of our own thinking, otherwise the Muslim Ummah has access to resource and ability that exceeds even that of the American superpower.

Western Capitalism Cannot Solve Climate Change

According to Reuters:

Half-way through talks to breathe life into the Paris climate deal negotiators haggled over how to share the cost of curbing global warming and struggled to bridge deep political divides.

The two weeks of talks, which began at the start of the week, are billed as the most important U.N. conference since the Paris 2015 agreement on climate change.

The challenge is to meet a year-end deadline to agree a rule book to limit global warming, when the unity that underpinned the Paris talks has fragmented. U.S. President Donald Trump repeated his call to scrap the Paris climate pact.

The secular Capitalist creed is the result of a compromise between Christianity and atheism that protected religion as a personal choice while public life would follow atheistic thinking that holds material self-interest alone to be man’s purpose in life. Within just a couple of centuries of the West’s adoption of such thinking, the excesses of Western materialism has not only resulted in the wholesale exploitation of mankind for elitist Western interests but has also led to complete devastation of the earth’s resources and environment to feed Western greed.

Protection for the Earth’s environment will only be possible when the world returns to leadership by a civilisation founded on a spiritual, and not material basis, as was the case in the time of the previous Khilafah that was for over a millennium the leading state in the world and whose civilizational norms spread throughout all of humanity.
