Revised American Military Policy Introduces New Nuclear Weapons

Following the announcement of America’s revised military policy calling for prioritising Russia and China as principal threats, the Pentagon is now seeking to introduce new nuclear weapons into its already vast arsenal. According to the Washington Post:

“The Pentagon released a new nuclear arms policy Friday that calls for the introduction of two new types of weapons, effectively ending Obama-era efforts to reduce the size and scope of the U.S. arsenal and minimize the role of nuclear weapons in defense planning.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said in an introductory note to the new policy — the first update to the military’s nuclear strategy since 2010 — that the changes reflect a need to “look reality in the eye” and “see the world as it is, not as we wish it to be.””

Increased global conflict is an inevitable consequence of the secular liberal Capitalist ideology adopted by the West and the American superpower. By stipulating worldly materialism as man’s driving force in life, Capitalism necessarily results in states adopting an imperialist foreign policy that seeks to exploit others in the name of national interest. A global arms race naturally ensues.

During the time that Islam dominated the world, with the Khilafah State as the world’s superpower, peace and justice prevailed. The economic policies of the state benefited not only Muslims but the rest of the world also, as for example through the ‘Silk Route’ that connected Europe to China through Muslim lands, enriching both. Muslims were in possession of advanced military technology but this was used sparingly and did not lead to the type of arms race existent today. Within the space of only two centuries the Capitalist West has developed an entire range of weapons of mass destruction, exploiting science for the destruction of mankind. Now, when the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) State is re-established, Muslims will first have to match western armaments before working politically to cool world conflicts and seek collective disarmament and the elimination of weapons that should never have been invented in the first place.

 

Roman Catholic Church Seeks Involvement in Chinese Internal Affairs

After nearly 70 years, the Roman Catholic Church is close to an agreement with China under which it would have involvement in the appointment of Chinese bishops. According to Reuters:

A framework accord between the Vatican and China on the appointment of bishops is ready and could be signed in a few months in what would be an historic breakthrough in relations, a senior Vatican source said.

An even partial resolution of the thorny issue of who gets to appoint bishops could open the way for a resumption of diplomatic relations nearly 70 years after they were cut during the Communist takeover of China.

Full relations would give the Church a legal framework to look after all of China’s estimated 12 million Catholics and move on to focus on Catholic growth in a country where Protestant churches are already growing fast.

The secular West, despite calling for sovereign integrity, constantly seeks ways to intervene in the internal affairs of other nations. The Roman Church was never designed to be a worldwide Church. Its legitimate role is within the successor countries to the Roman Empire. The Roman Church was originally the Church of the empire of Rome and its role continued within European countries after the breakdown of the Western Roman Empire. However, with the advent of European imperialism, Europe’s churches were used as a means by which to extend Western domination of the world. Even today, various western churches continue to be used as tools in Western foreign policy, with the Roman Church in particular closely following the policy of the United States.

If the Roman Church is sincere to their religion then they should focus their efforts on battling secularism within the West instead of becoming themselves tools of Western secularism abroad. And sovereign governments should expose Western interference in all its forms, whether through Church activities, or so-called NGOs, or international bodies such as the IMF and the World Bank.

 

America Plays the Role of Wizard of Oz behind the Turkish Assault into Syria

Despite the deceitful anti-American rhetoric of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s assault into north-western Syria has actually been commanded by the Americans. According to the New York Times:

“Turkey is relying on a newly reconfigured, 20,000-member American trained force with three army corps as it tries to carve out a buffer zone within Syria. The force has already taken 16 casualties in two weeks of fighting on the front lines.

But the soldiers are not Turks. Rather they are the mostly Arab fighters of the Free Syrian Army, once trained and assembled by the C.I.A. and Western allies to oust President Bashar al-Assad of Syria.

Since the routing of the Islamic State, alliances in Syria have been scrambled. The latest round of the conflict, in fact, features two American-trained forces fighting each other.”

In fact, America is pursuing a complex policy in Syria, manipulating different agents to dominate different regions of the country, so that America is not dependent on any one single power. These machinations are an indication not of America strength but of American weakness as it attempts to control events from afar, fearful of deploying its own military into Muslim land.

It is incumbent upon Muslims to realise that America, despite being the world’s superpower, has no real power over the Muslim Ummah. It is only the intellectual and political limitations of our own rulers borne out of their insincerity to the Muslims and their deen that results in their continued humiliating subservience to the West. Muslims must pledge themselves to sincere, indigenous, ideological leadership that will overthrow the present rulers and establish the righteous Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophet ﷺ, implementing the Deen and carrying its light to the entire world.
