Britain Leaves the EU: An Unexpected Conclusion

On Thursday 23rd June, the British public voted in only the third referendum in British political history.  The country was divided on the issue and the unexpected victory of the leave campaign has sent shockwaves through international media. Whilst the media has painted the reason behind this result as immigration, the British public in large has become disenchanted with the status quo of economic problems. For the political leaders who backed the campaign like British Prime Minster David Cameron, this was an undesirable result and exposed the fragments in his own party as he went up against members. Only time will tell how Britain will manage this divorce from the union as it tries to manage a decision made by a misinformed public.

Erdogan Islam and Politics

On Monday, Turkey reached a historical deal with the Jewish entity aiming to restore ties that had been soured for 6 years following on from the flotilla incident. Turkish leaders described it as a “diplomatic victory”, and announced 10,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid is being shipped to Gaza on Friday, via an ‘Israeli’ port. The Zionist entity hopes the restoration of relations will pave the way for multi-billion dollar gas deals. Erdogan has played his cards right in negotiating peace and relations with the occupying entity and has justified it to the Muslims of Turkey by using the crisis in Gaza as a political tool. Gaza has and will continue to be bombed and sent back to the stone ages by the Zionist entity sending 10,000 tonnes of aid will do nothing but alleviate the suffering to some degree on a short term basis whilst the Zionist entity can choose when to restart its campaign of terror again. Once again Erdogan has duped the Muslims by agreeing to a deal with the tail of the snake under the Ummah’s very noses, all this while Turkey possesses the military capability to liberate Palestine within a matter of days at most.

Racism on the Increase in UK

With the referendum vote in the UK, focussed on immigration, the UK is how seeing an increase in attacks against minorities. Britain “will not tolerate intolerance”, the office of Prime Minister David Cameron said, after a series of racist incidents were reported following its decision to leave the European Union. The Polish Embassy in London said it was “shocked and deeply concerned” by incidents of abuse directed at Poles and other Eastern Europeans living in England. On Facebook, a video showing members of the far-right English Defence League gathering outside a mosque in Birmingham waving a flag littered with obscenities. Police later made two arrests. With the referendum campaign run on berating immigrants it should be no surprise many racists have found fertile ground for the prejudices.
