Putin at the service of the United States again Hosting North Korean Leader

While the world media is portraying Russia as competing with America in hosting Kim Jong Un, the truth is that Russian President Vladimir Putin is merely offering his services to America again for American foreign policy objectives. According to Reuters:

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un told Russian President Vladimir Putin that peace and security on the Korean peninsula depended on the United States, warning that a state of hostility could easily return, North Korean media said on Friday.

Kim’s remarks during talks with Putin on Thursday appeared aimed at pushing Washington to be more flexible on North Korean demands for an easing of international sanctions.

U.S. President Donald Trump, who ended a second summit with Kim in February without a deal for North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons, seemed unperturbed, saying a lot of progress was being made toward an agreement and welcoming Putin’s support…

“I think we’re doing very well with North Korea. A lot of progress is being made,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “I appreciated President Putin’s statement yesterday. He wants to see it done also. I think there’s a lot of excitement for getting a deal done with North Korea.”

Ideological politics ended in Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Following the chaotic Yeltsin years, the Russian state was captured by the military-security establishment, with thousands of ex-military and ex-intelligence officers holding important positions in the state, to the extent that the Russians have an unofficial term ‘Silovik’ (literally ‘people of force’) for a politician from a military or security background, which includes Vladimir Putin himself, a former mid-ranking KGB officer.

No state can succeed without visionary politicians. A military or security/intelligence background does not equip individuals with political thinking. The ease with which America manipulates Russia into serving its agenda most notably in Syria is quite evidently because of a lack of sound political thinking in the Russian leadership.

Muslims must learn a lesson from the failures of Russia. Military thinking is essential for Muslims in order to build our armies and liberate our lands from occupation by the disbelieving foreigner. But political thinking is even more important, so that the state does not lose on the negotiating table what it wins on the battlefield.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran ‘Taliban’ Khan continues to undermine Afghan Jihad

Before coming to power, Imran Khan’s sometime statements on Afghanistan were interpreted by some as so pro-Taliban that he earned the nickname ‘Taliban Khan’. But the cold reality of Pakistan’s Prime Minister is that he is perhaps even more pro-Western and anti-Islam than his recent predecessors. According to The News:

United States Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad has greatly appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement on Afghanistan.

Zalmay took to Twitter sharing the statement of PM Imran Khan, saying “Greatly appreciate PM Imran Khans statement yesterday on Afghanistan.”

The US Special representative went on to say, “PM Imran’s appeal for reduction of violence and policy against promoting internal conflict in other nations has potential to positively transform the region and give Pakistan a leading role.”

On Thursday, Imran Khan said Afghanistan conflict has brought great suffering for both Afghanistan and Pakistan over last 40 years. Now, after a long wait, the Afghanistan Peace Process presents a historic opportunity for peace in the region and Pakistan is fully supporting the process including the next logical step of Intra Afghan Dialogue wherein Afghans will themselves decide upon the future of their country.

He went on to say in this backdrop, Pakistan is highly dismayed by the surge of violence in Afghanistan from all sides. The so called offensives are condemnable and will undermine the peace process.

“It is not right to seek an edge in dialogue through coercion. Pakistan implores all parties to recognize the importance of the moment and seize it,” Khan said in a statement.

Pakistan has committed all diplomatic and security capital to success of peace process. Pakistan will not be party to any internal conflict in Afghanistan anymore, Imran Khan asserted.

America’s military occupation of Afghanistan is rapidly collapsing, negotiations with the Taliban are at a standstill and the mujahideen on the ground have accelerated their insurgency against the US puppet Kabul government with their recently announced Spring offensive. Instead of calling for America to now leave Afghanistan, Imran Khan is effectively calling on the Taliban to stop the jihad.

The current regimes in Muslim countries in reality all serve the Western agenda politically, intellectually, militarily and economically; they will never be sincere to the real interests of the Muslim Ummah. With Allah’s permission, the sincere mujahideen in the Ummah will soon be supported by the armies of the re-established Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophet ﷺ.

Yemen’s Foreign Warmongers Meet in London to Discuss ‘Peace’

According to Arab News:

The need for Houthi militias in Yemen to adhere to the Stockholm Agreement was on the agenda in talks between senior diplomats of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Britain and the US in London on Friday.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir said the Yemen Quartet had discussed the latest developments of the crisis and “agreed on the need for the withdrawal of Houthi militias from the ports and the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement”

He also said there was discussion on “Iran’s continuing hostile practices in supporting Houthi militias with missiles and drones to target civilian areas in Yemen and neighboring countries.”

The UK Foreign Office said the meeting discussed how best to support the efforts of UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths.

A ceasefire between Yemeni government troops and Houthi militants was agreed for the key port of Hodeidah in December during talks in Sweden. But the implementation of the truce has stalled and the Arab Coalition supporting Yemeni forces has accused the Iran-backed Houthis of dozens of violations. The coalition includes Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

“I called this meeting so that we keep doing everything we can to move forward on the hard road to peace in Yemen,” UK Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said. “This is a horrendous conflict and it is taking too long to turn the ceasefire agreed in Stockholm into a durable path to peace.”

The meeting was also attended by the UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nayan, and David Satterfield, a US acting assistant secretary of state.

The US and the UK are fond of present themselves in international conflicts as the peace negotiators. But the reality is that their presence in such negotiations is because they are themselves the ones who are responsible for those conflicts. The savage war in Yemen is in fact a struggle between the US and the UK, through their proxies, the Saudis and the UAE. So, naturally, war negotiations concern these four countries. The actual factions on the ground in Yemen simply do not need to be consulted.

The only solution to the problems of the Muslim Ummah is that we take charge of our own affairs and eject the foreign disbelievers from our lands. The only power that the West has over us is because of the intellectual limitations of our present ruling elite, who have a slave mentality where their Western masters are concerned. With Allah’s permission, the Ummah shall soon pledge allegiance to sincere, indigenous, ideological, politically aware, visionary leadership, that shall re-establish the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophet ﷺ implementing the true Deen and carrying its light to the world.
