The Women and Children of Aleppo, Mosul and Turkey Want You to Implement the Commands of Islam Not the Turkish National Pact (Misak-ı Milli)!

Turkey’s involvement or not in the newly launched anti-DAESH operations in Iraq’s Mosul is on top of the agenda these days. President Erdogan expresses the need for Turkey to take part in this operation through emphasizing on the Turkish National Pact (Misak-ı Milli) in each of his speeches. Erdogan, “What is worse is, […] Those who entrapped Turkey in such a vicious cycle since 1923, aim to make us forget our thousand years of presence in our region, our Seljuk and Ottoman history”  “The aim of the War of Independence was to protect the Turkish National Pact.” And he said, “We call July 15, the Second War of Independence.” (Agencies)

Comment:

These emphasises by the President on the National Pact came immediately after his telephone conversation with Russian leader Putin. These emphasises came after his statements, declaring, “We have talked about a consensus [with Putin] to work on taking al-Nusra out of Aleppo and maintaining the peace of the people of Aleppo”. Now, through bringing the Turkish National Pact on the agenda, and through comparing July 15 to the War of Independence, it is sought to create confused emotions and perceptions among the Ummah. It is sought to hush-up that the aim in Mosul is to serve the interests of the USA, just as it is the case with Aleppo. However; neither during the War of Independence nor on July 15; the people did not flock to the streets and squares because of their commitment to the National Pact. They did not become martyrs for democracy. Anyone who is sincere about history and our present day knows this very well, there is no doubt that the Ummah in Turkey, in Aleppo and entire Syria, and for certain the Ummah in Mosul is well aware what the National Pact and what (the Treaty of) Lausanne is. For the National Pact, or Misak-ı Milli, is the name of the very agreement that broke the Khilafah into pieces, that ‘nationalised’ its soils as its name states, and that imprisoned it within factitious non-Islamic nationalist borders.

But, Turkey’s leaders have a hazy sight of history: Was it not the Entente States with Russia, the United Kingdom, and the USA on top who made the Ottoman state to sign the Mondros Armistice Agreement? Who one by one invaded the Islamic lands and then drew up the borders of the National Pact (Misak-ı Milli borders)? And was it not the same states who violated their own decisions of the National Pact with setting up the Treaty of Lausanne? Were it not those pacts and treaties that finally excluded Aleppo, Mosul, Arbil, Sulaimaniyah and Kirkuk from the borders of Turkey? Is it not Turkey’s leaders today who say that for exactly 98 years now the Muslims are sought to be induced in vain with the lie of Entente-agent Atatürk and his companions that these pacts and treaties were the “greatest political success”?

But the Ummah does not feel the need anymore to examine this issue any further. The Ummah is fed up with empty demagogic debates. It knows very well and has never forgotten the main causes, perpetrators, renegades, the networks of betrayal and intrigues behind these pacts, and the houses of cards built upon those. This Ummah feels much better than its leaders that the Kuffar nations mob around it like hungry animals. The bombs dropped every day from the war planes of Russian, American and the other Entente States who lift from the military bases in Turkey are sensed and experienced by Aleppo, and by the Ummah in Turkey… We sense and experience the National Pact and the Treaty of Lausanne almost everyday, whenever Russian war ships pass the Bosporus with supplement for the bombardment of Syria. And today, we sense and deeply experience the suffering of almost 1 million of our sisters and brothers and children from Mosul, who are forced to leave their homes due to America’s decision to enter Mosul under the pretext of fighting ISIL.

Unfortunately; Turkey’s service to the Entente states is of such great value, that General Joseph Votel from CENTCOM underlined “Turkey’s outstanding importance” in the campaign against DEASH and stated, “The US-led coalition could not have achieved what it has achieved in Syria as of today without Turkey’s support”. And Turkey feels proud of this.

The Ummah does not ask you for neither Lausanne nor the National Pact. The Ummah wants you break free of the chains of the Kuffar, the shackles of nationalism, and to embrace and to lift the flag of Rasulallah and to end the suffering of the Muslim women and children as the requirement of brotherhood of your Deen and your Imaan. They do not want you to talk about Seljuk and Ottoman era, they want you to fulfil the orders of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and Rasulallah as they did, to strictly refuse any kind of worldly benefit or gain and to get in action for the rescue of the Ummah. It does not want you to stand in the ranks of the USA and support their invasion! It does not want you to shake hands with Russia and raze Aleppo to the ground!
