The Tyrants of Central Asia celebrate Navruz!

On 20 March IA “Radio Liberty” reported that the head of Uzbekistan sent a greeting telegram to his Tajik counterpart, the press service of the Tajik president said. “It gives me great pleasure to send you my sincere congratulations and good wishes on the occasion of the upcoming beautiful holiday of spring, creation and renovation – Navruz”, – the greeting says.

Comment:

Every year, on the eve of the spring equinox, the Muslims of Central Asia are tempted by tyrant rulers who forcibly cultivate non-Islamic holidays among the people, namely the holiday of the Persian pagans – Navruz.

The tyrants of these lands conduct mass celebrations and entertainment, congratulate each other, announced these days as holidays and days off. This year the new president of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, distinguished himself and forced the people of Uzbekistan to celebrate Navruz for 3 days. According to his resolution, the period from 19 to 21 March is considered days off in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In this crime, the tyrants are helped by the cowardly and corrupt imams who give fatwa that Navruz does not contradict the canons of Islam and it can be celebrated. For example, the Islamic Center of the Republic of Tajikistan believes that the celebration of Navruz does not violate the demands of the Sharia. In the section “Questions and Answers” on the website of the Ulema Council, one of the visitors asked a question about whether it is allowed to celebrate Navruz?

The Ulema Council replied: “Now Navruz is perceived as a spring holiday, a holiday of the beginning of spring works. If you want to do a good deed, then prepare some dish and treat them to orphans. This will be a good deed, and the Sharia welcomes good deeds”.

The fact that there is nothing nasty or contradictory to Islam in the celebration of Navruz, other clerics used to say earlier. One of the well-known imams of Tajikistan, Khoja Akbar Turajozoda, said: “In such cases, the worshipers must necessarily distinguish between Islamic holidays such as Idi Kurbon and Idi Ramazon, and national holidays, to which Navruz can be attributed. The celebrations of national holidays in terms of the Sharia are not nasty”.

As much as these Imams are ignorant and cowardly. Do not they know that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

“When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, its inhabitants had two days in which they played games. He ﷺ asked: “What are these two days?” They replied: “In these two days we played games in the time of jahiliya”. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Verily, Allah has substituted for you these two feasts for others, which are better than them – the day of al-Adha and the day of al-Fitr”. The hadith was narrated by Ahmad (11750), Abu Dawood (1135) and al-Hakim (1124).

And one of the imams of the madhhab Imam Abu Hanifah, the author of the book “Al-Jami al-Asgar” says: “If a person buys during Navruz something that is usually bought on that day by the disbelievers, wishing thereby to honor this day, then he becomes unfaithful.  If he wants to just eat, drink or enjoy, he does not become unfaithful”. See: Al-Bahr al-Raig, Shahn Kans al-Dakaik Ibn Nujaime (8/555).

In addition, these cowardly and corrupt imams distort the words of Allah Almighty:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّـهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ

“O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.”

(4:59)

They say that Muslims must obey their presidents in everything, so they are elected rulers of these countries. But, the mufassir in their tafsiras to these verses say that obedience to rulers only if the rulers follow the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

Thus, the Shaykh al-Saadi, in his tafsir of this verse says: “Allah has commanded to obey Him and obey His messenger, for which the faithful must fulfill the mandatory and desirable precepts of religion and avoid all that is forbidden.” Allah also ordered obedience to rulers, Only when they do not order to disobey Allah. If they order to do so, then the Muslim should not obey the creature, violating the dictates of his Creator. That the verb at the mention of obedience to the power-holders is omitted, but he stands before the mention of obedience to the Messenger, because the Messenger always commanded only to obey Allah, and anyone who obeys the Messenger actually obeys Allah. As for the possessors of power, then obey them necessarily only in that it does not contradict the orders of Allah. “

Thus, there is no submission to these tyrants, and celebrating of Navruz is haram for Muslims! O Allah!!! Grant us your help!!! O Allah!!! Hasten the revival of the Khilafah (Caliphate), led by a righteous ruler who will save us from tyrants and abolish all pagan holidays!!!
