The Tunisian Regime Kills our Sons

On Sunday night 08/10/2017, a naval patrol vessel that belongs to the Tunisian military crashed into a wooden boat at sea after a chase that lasted more than two hours. The boat was carrying about 100 migrants from Tunisia heading towards Italy. Dozens of Tunisian youths were killed. The bodies of eight of them were recovered, while dozens of other bodies remained on the seabed and only 38 youths survived. Soon, the trumpets of the regime’s media acquitted the authority, condemning the migrant youth and described them with humiliating titles such as ‘al-Harrqah’, focusing on the fact that the emigration of these young people is an illegal act. As if they implicitly justify the killing and blame the victims!

The government dealt with the incident very coldly, as if our youth who died were not humans, and when the voices rose in condemnation of killing them, the Ministry of Defense announced that it had formed a commission of inquiry to determine who caused the incident. It has become known that the government’s formation of the commissions of inquiry into similar incidents is to bury these cases, and not to hold the perpetrators accountable. Whatever is said about the reason for the crash of the immigrants’ boat (whether the patrol vessel crashed into it, as some survivors say, or the boat collided with the vessel as the official version says), the regime’s handling of this heinous incident confirms the following:

1- The existing regime slack and belittling the lives of the people, and its government condemns the victims, calling them illegal immigrants, even though it is the one primarily responsible for these migratory waves that swept the country especially after 2014. The welfare of people’s affairs was severely neglected since all the policies of the regime are the application of the orders of colonial powers and of the terms of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which ordered it to freeze the mandates and it did, and ordered it to reduce the budget deficit, so it increased taxes, and ordered it to reduce spending; thus, it lifted subsidies. Government after another, not thinking except in arithmetic equations to adjust the budget and satisfy the colonist, while the people are their last concern, until migration became the biggest concern of the Tunisian youths, a migration towards the unknown in despair over this regime, which impoverished them and closed every horizon before them.

2- The regime in Tunisia and those who are running it are the cause of poverty, unemployment and poor living since the riches that Allah bestowed upon this country are sufficient and abundant. But it was the rulers who enabled dozens of colonial companies to plunder them. And suppressed the youth of Tunisia when they wanted to recover it from the looters of the people and the blood suckers. When the people went out against the tyrant Zayn al-Abidin or when they held their pickets in Tataouine and Kebili, and before them in Qarqana, Bou Hajla and Souassi, the regime defied the revolution to preserve itself. For the sit-ins the head of the regime ordered the militarization of the areas of wealth to prevent the protesters by tyrannical rather, killing force.

3- The intervention of the military vessel and its chasing of the migrants’ boat for two hours in the sea to the death confirms what Hizb ut Tahrir has repeatedly said that the regime in Tunisia is a despicable servant of the European countries, guarding the southern borders of Europe (and it is most likely that the patrol vessel that was used in the chase is itself an outcome of a European “help”).

4- The regime uses the army, makes use of it in the service of the colonizer and makes our officers and soldiers guards and night watchmen for the security of colonial European countries.

O Muslims!

In Tunisia, a capitalist democratic system is imposed by deceit and false promises to serve the interests of the colonial powers; a regime that does not care for your affairs or cares about you, but rather kills you negligently or as a punishment. How many incidents of negligence, abandonment and ill-treatment that have claimed the lives of your brothers? and the murder of 60 youths at sea was not the first and will not be the last as long as this system exists.

O Muslims in the country of Az-Zaytouna, the country of Uqba ibn Nafi’!

The sanctity of Muslim’s blood is greater in the sight of Allah than the sanctity of the Kaaba; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «لزوال الدنيا أهون عند الله من قتل مؤمن بغير حق» “The destruction of the world is lighter on Allah than the killing of one Muslim man”. So, is the one who despairs of the agents and the semi-rulers, who sold the country and its wealth to the Kafir colonizer, and goes out seeking in the land of Allah that he may find what preserves his dignity and his life, is he “out-law” or a murderer for himself?! The regime is the primary responsible for the death of the Tunisian youths, whatever it said or justified. It will not avail it its saying: “These have thrown themselves to die in the sea”, as it will not exempt it from the crime its offering scapegoats those who were on the patrol vessel. For, who pushed the youth out of the country?! And who delivered their fortunes and money to their enemy?!

O Muslim youth seeking the life of honor and dignity!

No one will blame you for your despair of this authority and this system, and no one will blame you for seeking and searching for a dignified life, but where do you go?! You are migrating to Europe, and Europe is your enemy that colonized your country and killed your fathers and your forefathers yesterday, and today it dominates your country. And it installed on you agent “rulers” who kill you and offer them your wealth. You migrate to Europe, and Europe is the maker of the capitalist system from which you flee. You migrate to Europe where organized criminal gangs prey on you to use you and trade in you.

O revolting Muslim youth!

Were you not the ones who stood the men’s stance and forced the tyrant Ben Ali to escape? Yes, you made the tyrant escape and some of his cronies to disappear for some time, but the system that corrupted your lives (democracy and capitalism) persists and is not going to change on protesting at marches or burning police headquarters here and there.

And know that the real change will only be achieved by uprooting this corrupt system and deporting its agents who are running it to their colonial masters on a boat like the one they destroyed, and then make the great system of Islam, your religion in which your honor and dignity in, the place of governance and taking care of the affairs by pledging Bay’ah to a Khleefah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who will guard you by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Nobel Messenger ﷺ, preserving your blood and protecting your country and enabling you to your wealth.

O Officers and soldiers, O sons of Tunisia!

You have sworn by Almighty Allah on His Holy Book to be the protectors of this cherished country from every greedy enemy, and to be a protective shield for your brethren. And here you are, the quasi-rulers are using you to secure your enemy and ensure his interests. Do you obey them in making you opponents to your brothers, killing or humiliating them?! Have you not yet realized that they are making you a shield to protect the arms of colonialism who are a few splintering agents of the West and powerful money owners? And they will not hesitate to offer some of you scapegoats blaming you for the killing of your family and brothers.

O Officers and soldiers, O descendants of the heroes Mujahideen!

Did not you realize that this system that you are protecting makes you murderers and criminals, servants to your enemy and the enemy of your Deen?! Is not it time for you to comply with the provisions of Islam and your Deen so you stand in the row of your Ummah and your people and to give victory to the true rulers of the Dawah carriers from Hizb ut Tahrir, who will rule by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His prophet ﷺ. Thus, you save the blood of Muslims, expel colonialism and reclaim your country!

إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَنْ كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ

“Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind].”
