According to the Africa Portal News website on 14/2/2017, the Egyptian committee in charge of following up the Libyan crisis, led by general Mahmoud Hijazi, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces has announced that it reached the results of the meetings that took place over two days, which are separate meetings with President of the House of Representatives Akila Saleh and the so called the Libyan Army Commander Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in addition to the Chairman of the Presidential Council of the Government of Reconciliation, Fa’iz As-Siraj.

The first of these results: is the formation of a joint committee of members of the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of the state to modify the political agreement in accordance with the new reconciled format to be adopted in the House of Representatives

Second: Constitutionalizing this agreement to address all outstanding issues

Third: to work on holding a parliamentary and presidential elections no later than February 2018.

Fourth: the continuation of all the occupants of key positions in their positions until the end of the transitional period and the holding of elections.

These movements, meetings and decisions are an attempt by Egypt to withdraw the Libyan file from Tunisia and Algeria… to give Khalifa Haftar- who follows the United States – the upper hand. This move is aimed at confusing the European presence, particularly the British, and the fact that the supervisor of these meetings is the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces confirms that the desired solution in the Egyptian perspective is the military success of Haftar’s brutal forces, that is the planned solution is a military solution according to the US plan, and these meetings and decisions are a political cover that makes Haftar to represent in the first stage a political party and in the second stage become dominant with his military force with the pretext of his violation of the agreements or the inability to implement them.

Otherwise, since when was Fa’iz As-Siraj and his government of weight in Libya? He was appointed through an external decision and for more than a year he did not show any significant political action, apart from the formation of his government; and the parties that brought him declared his full failure? In contrast, why was the Chairman of the General National Congress Khalifa Goel who is actually in control of Tripoli, isolated from these meetings and agreements? This shows that the agreement is not aimed at bringing the parties to find a political solution, but it is to be used as justification for the stages to come, when Khalifa Haftar will be in control for allegedly being the commanding general of the Libyan army… and to prepare Libya for a new dictatorship stage that the first beneficiary from it is America.

The concealed solution in all of these negotiations and communications is the correct solution, that the people of Libya will unite around the project that is obliged by Allah سبحانه وتعالى, a state of Islam to the Ummah of Islam in Libya and in all Muslim lands; the righteous Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood, instead of dictatorship, democracy, and colonialism, and instead of all the forces that want to return the Ummah to the man-made systems of ignorance, the system of Islam is the one that saves all this blood and protects it, it prevents all this destruction and chaos.
