At its 13th Summit the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), for which Turkey holds the presidency this term, hosted 21 presidents/head of states, 6 prime ministers, 9 ministers and vice prime ministers or vice prime ministers and 12 ministers, as well as the Crimean Tatars, the Syrian opposition and Muslims from Arakan. The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), (formerly the Organisation of the Islamic Conference), is an international organisation, whose members are countries of majority or partly Muslim population, seated in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the purpose of political, economic, cultural, academic and social solidarity and cooperation. Turkey has taken over presidency of the OIC from Egypt for the period 2016-2019 on 14th of April, and although many issues were discussed on this meeting, President Erdogan highlighted three issues.

President Erdogan emphasized that sectarianism, racism and terror are the root causes for the problems faced by Muslims. He listed the steps to be taken on these issues. Sectarianism, racism and terror are sources of instigation which cannot be accepted by any Muslim. However, the true cause of the problems we face in the Muslim lands today, are neither sectarianism, nor racism, nor terror caused by Muslims. It is the Western powers who support sectarianism, racism and terror in the countries where the Muslims live. There has never existed sectarianism and racism between Muslim peoples, and will never exist. However; these concepts have constantly been used by Western governments and their umbilical-bound collaborative rulers, in order to drive a wedge between the Muslims. These people on these lands have never fought each other due to sectarianism or racism. But these concepts were continuously kept on the agenda to distort the truth of the matter. Instead of disclosing the Western powers’ interventions in our lands and the necessary actions against them, they presented the problem as one of sectarianism and racism. And without doubt; terror is the name of Western-based mischief. Those who kill millions of Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and other Muslim lands, who use all their advanced weapons and bombs upon innocent people, are the Western powers.

So we ask the member states of the OIC: Which decisions have you felt throughout these years although you came together to handle the issues of the Muslims? Did any of your decisions lead to a step that benefited the Muslims? Or did you come together just for the sake of appearances? Is there a single country, a single ruler among your member countries who does not befriend those Western countries who deem sectarianism, racism, terror and other mischief proper upon us? What did you do under the presidency of the Egyptian regime who during that period slaughtered thousands of Muslims? Did you condemn your member countries and others who supported democracy and Al-Sisi? Did your condemnation benefit our Muslim brothers and sisters in Egypt?

You, as the members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, of whom a part of you cooperated with the Assad regime and another part acted together with the US-led coalition; did you not provide active support to the sectarianism and racism in Syria? Is it not you who call the countries of the UN and NATO to duty in Palestine, Syria, Iraq and our other Muslim lands? What does the so-called Islamic Army you set up, do against all the occupations? Did you ever take or will you ever take a concrete step towards solving the problems of the Muslims without consulting the Western Kuffar?

President Erdogan who said during his visit to the US that the US-Turkey alliance is a unique one, today talks of US occupation. Which Erdogan’s word shall we believe? What did you do for Palestine? How have you been able to talk of friendship when knowing the deeds of terror state, the Jewish entity? What reasons did you find to justify the new deals you re-signed, and which you did not make public immediately?  In fact, since the day of its establishment, this organization repeatedly came together to take decisions, but has always lacked of the will to implement its decisions. The Muslims’ problems will be solved by the Khilafah Rashidah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood who is İslam in its essence and not in words.
