Throughout the Muslim World, it is witnessed that Muslims are reflecting with fervor and sincerity upon the significance of the month of Rabii’ ul-Awwal. And Pakistan is no exception and has been illuminated in this month with beautiful speech regarding the life of RasulAllah ﷺ. For not only did Rabii’ ul-Awwal witness the gift of the birth of Muhammad ﷺ, it witnessed his appointing as the Final Prophet, the Mercy to all Humankind. Not only did Rabii’ ul-Awwal witness the rise of Muhammad ﷺ into Nabuwwa, it witnessed his ﷺ rise into ruling, through a Hijrah that established him ﷺ as a ruler of Madinah on 12 Rabiul-Awwal. At-Tabari said in his history called “The History of the Messengers and Rulers”: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قال قدم رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم الْمَدِينَةَ يَوْمَ الاثْنَيْنِ، لاثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً خَلَتْ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَبِيعٍ الأَوَّلِ “We heard from Ibn Hamid, who said: We heard from Salamah, from Ibn Ishaaq, from Az-Zohri who said: RasulAllah ﷺ arrived in Madinah on Monday of the night of the twelfth of Rabii’ ul Awwal.”
So, at a time when the struggle between the people of Kufr and the Islamic Ummah has intensified to the point of impending victory for Islam, Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan reminds the Muslims in general to reflect deeply upon how he ﷺ strove restlessly to convey Islam, enduring great hardships with patience, speaking with wisdom and compassion, purifying souls of corruption and forging the firm foundation of a great Ummah in the form of mountains of men, his Companions (ra). So let the Muslims quicken their steps as the victory nears, giving the Call to Islam its full right, regardless of the oppression at the hands of tyrants who are acting on behalf of the people of Kufr.
And at a time when the tyrants have exceeded all limits in their oppression, Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan reminds the Muslims of the armed forces in particular of how their predecessors, the noble of Ansaar (ra), turned the tables on the tyrants. Indeed, in the time of RasulAllah ﷺ, the oppressors became steeped in arrogant rejection, their hearts hardened and sealed by their Kufr. They used their authority to persecute RasulAllah ﷺ and all those who submitted to Islam. They spread lies about the message and the Messenger ﷺ, they gave chase and they tortured till martyrdom. It was at this very time that the military commanders of the Bani Khazraj and Bani al-Aws came forwards and granted the Nussrah to RasuAllah ﷺ through the Second Pledge of Aqabah. And it is this very pledge that set the stage for his ﷺ Hijrah from the oppression in Makkah to ruling by Islam in Madinah, turning the tables on the tyrants of his age. So let the Muslims of the armed forces move now to grant the Nussrah for the return of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood, seizing the hands of the tyrants and confounding the people of Kufr, whilst granting the victory to Islam and its Ummah.
وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ يَنْصُرُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
“And that day the believers will rejoice. In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful”
(Surah Ar-Rum: 4-5)
