The Entry of Red Cross Aircraft is a Treachery and Crime Against the Land and its People

The aircraft of the Red Cross are still stationed in the Ethiopian town of Asosa awaiting to fly to regions that the SPLM (Sudan People’s Liberation) Movement – North, to Yabus, in the Blue Nile province, and Kauda in South Kordofan. That is in order to transport those detained belonging to the SPLM to Ethiopia. That is after the operation has been stumbling along for a period of 18 months in the case where the SPLM announced in December 2014 the freeing of 20 government military personnel and 22 civilians from the workers of the mining companies, within the framework of the initiative led by the tourists group. (As-Saihah Newspaper issue 665).

We in Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Sudan, clarify the following true realities:

Firstly: If the matter was related to the exchanging of those detained from both sides then why was it not completed inside Sudanese territory, in the case where the Red Cross vehicles are mobilised and enter the movement’s regions, take the detained and then deliver them to the Sudanese government, or that the aircraft of the Red Cross move from Khartoum Airport after searching and checking them (in light of these organisations’ history in respect to transporting weapons), and then land in Kauda and Yabus before transporting the detainees to Khartoum Airport and handing them over to the government?

Secondly: The organisations have a long history in supplying arms carriers to fuel war and fighting within the country. So within the framework of the organisations supporting the weapons carriers, a United Nations plane transported the military leaders to Fangak in the Upper Nile with the aim of winning them over to Machar’s forces in April 2000. Similarly, a Red Cross plane transported soldiers and ammunition from the Lokichogio base in North Kenya which were then seized by the forces of Kerubino Kuanyin at that time. In addition, a UNICEF plane carried documents and maps to the two regions of Bur and Bayburt in South Sudan. One of the pilots of the United Nations was also detained in Bur whilst he was carrying military information about the army’s movements, just as some of the staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross were stopped in Wunruk whilst they were transporting military supplies and weapon carriers… And the list goes on.

Thirdly: The Red Cross planes still remain representative of the lifeline in respect to the provision of supplies to the SPLM-North. An example being the semi operation undertaken by the SPLM-North, on 28/01/2016, when the movement abducted 29 Chinese workers from the engineering company which was making the circular road in the Maqrah area of Al-Abassiyah and took them to Al-Kawda, so that the Red Cross would come to receive them using a suspicious plane which had been set in motion from Kenya and then landed in Al-Kawda on 07/02/2016, after the government had given them permission, even though they were oblivious to what the plane was carrying. As such, the operation, as is clear from what took place, was to abduct the Chinese and take them on a long trip across the mountains to the city of Al-Kawda for the purpose of allowing the Red Cross plane to come in with what it was transporting!

Fourthly: Far removed from the deceitful humanitarian claims, the planes of these suspicious organisations remain one of the most important tools for igniting wars in the different corners and parts of the country. That is whilst the government is contradictory in its behaviour, is still involved in a tug of war with these organisations. That is in the case where the government expelled 13 organisations only from a sum of 130 organisations working in the different parts of Sudan. And Kamal Obeid, the state’s minister for media and communications, at that time, reiterated that all of the organisations that had been expelled play an intelligence role that is rejected (to take place) in Sudan. And that had been based on information made available in respect to them, but what is hidden and concealed is much greater than that!

The government providing the green light for these planes to enter threatens the life of the military personnel in the fighting fronts and even the lives of the civilians, the security of the country, and it represents a treachery and crime against the land and the people.

The process of exchanging detainees must take place far away from this suspicious method. And what is even more obligatory that that is to look after the affairs of the people well with justice by the great ideology of Islam, in the shade of its state, the rightly guided Khilafah state (Caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood. That is so that the causes for carrying weapons against the state are negated and so that the influence and intrigues of the disbeliever colonialist and its tools and organisations are severed from the land.

Therefore, the obligation upon all of the Muslims is to work with those working to live under the shade of the Islamic life that pleases the Lord of the Worlds, and for this goal let those who work to act.
