Lebanese authority agencies have arrested in a humiliating improper manner, the former Grand Mufti of Rashaya Sheikh Dr. Bassam Taras on the night of Eid al-Adha!

The least that can be said about this racist authority’s approach in dealing with any file concerning Muslims supporters of Ash-Sham Revolution is that it is reprehensible, especially dealing with the scholars, who some of them languish in Abu Ghraib prison – Lebanon Branch (Roumieh), and some appeared in the torture tapes released last year being beaten in a cruel, sadistic and brutal manner. Meanwhile, the followers of the Shabbiha Bashar al-Assad and his allies are treated with the utmost respect and reverence. The most recent example of this is how it was dealt with the thug Wiam Wahhab, who his escort was proven to be the one who put the explosive in Majdal Anjar. Rather it is Wahhab who threatens and warns the authority and defies those who dare to come close to his hometown of ignorance to arrest him or to detain one of his followers!

O Muslims in Lebanon, O Esteemed Scholars:

The arrest of scholars and muftis is a great transgression against you and an insult to you, especially on the night of Eid al-Adha!

This authority – including those agents who claim to represent you – is dealing with you like rejected criminals, while dealing with the real criminals like venerated saints! Were it not for the heavy pressure, the proposal to ban the two parties involved in the bombing of As-Salam and Al-Taqwa Mosques would not have been transferred to the Cabinet. Although it did not take the attitude that should be taken towards the regime of Bashar which was proved to be behind the bombings; the least is to expel the Ambassador of the criminal Syrian regime!

So, for how long is the silence on these degrading actions and this approach of dealing with a group of Muslims in Lebanon and especially with their scholars?!
