But, O Leaders of the Ulema! How can you express Gratitude to her who killed the Ulema?
On Sunday (4/11/2018), in gratitude over recognition of the top Qawmi madrasa degree as equivalent to Master’s in Islamic studies and Arabic, a government backed rally was staged in the capital’s Suhrawardy Udyan. In election politics, to take advantage of the ample opportunity of asking for votes from the Ulema (scholars), and to show the general people the Ulema’s support for her, Hasina was willing to ignore any public interest and so by sudden government order, the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exams were deferred affecting 2.67 million students. People of sight and mind can easily understand that Hasina has given this recognition to Qawmi degree, not from the responsibility towards the Ulema, but rather to erase her label of “Ulema killer” and use the support of the Ulema section to get to power again. And consequently, exploiting this recognition by arranging an election rally of the Ulema and calling it ‘Shokrana Mahfil’ (gratitude gathering) is a type of deception natural for zalim (oppressive) rulers like Hasina.
In this so-called democratic system, this art of deception and exploitation becomes more evident before election. The Awami-BNP ruling elites engage in a competition of giving false promises to people and using the Islamic emotion of people. They start their election campaigns either with Umrah Hajj or by visiting the graves of the Sufis. And, once they get to power they promptly break all the promises, and participate in the crusader Kafir Imperialist’s war against Islam and conduct brutality not only towards the Ulema but also towards the whole population.
O Leaders of the Ulema! To whom are you expressing your gratitude? Have you forgotten the brutality of Shapla Chattar, the blood bath of your brothers?! The recognition of your degree for which you are expressing this gratitude, is your right, which these secular rulers deprived you from for decades, for which they should seek forgiveness from you, not asking for gratitude! And when you should be gathered demanding her punishment for killing your brothers, how can you think of showing her your gratitude instead? Why do you think that you need patronage from either the two secular parties Awami League or BNP? Do you not see how they become desperate to seek your dua and support in every election, but promptly forget you after getting into power? Do not let Awami League or BNP use you as a means to get into power! Do not sell your Imaan for the sake of cheap interests of this world and do not stop your duty of speaking the truth. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا أُولَئِكَ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ “As for those who sell for a small price the covenant and faith they owe to Allah and their own plighted word for a small price, they shall have no portion in the hereafter. Nor will Allah speak to them or look at them on the day of judgment, nor will He cleanse them; they shall have a grievous torment, a painful doom.” [Surah Aal-i-Imraan: 77]
O Ulema, Who are Sincere and Respected! When the people of this nation are desperate to get rid of not only Hasina but also the whole secular democratic rule, your role, as inheritors of the Prophets, is to call the people towards the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate), the system from Allah (swt) for mankind. Know that, the Khilafah will demolish the secular education policy which has brought division amongst syllabi, certificates and jobs among people and will implement one education policy based on Islamic Aqeeda, so a certain section of people will not have to wait for parliament to enact a law for their certificate recognition. For basic needs like education and jobs, the people will not have to look towards the ruler because it is Shariah obligation on the neck of Khalefah to ensure all the basic needs for all the citizens. Additionally, the Khilafah will bring punish Hasina her crime of killing your brothers. So, do not delay in engaging in the intellectual and political struggle to remove Hasina and the so called democratic system and re-establishing the Khilafah Rasidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) under the leadership of Hizb ut Tahrir. Do not let the fear of any zalim ruler or prison and oppression prevent you from speaking the truth and standing beside the truth! Remember that RasulAllah ﷺ said:
«أَلاَ لاَ يَمْنَعَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ هَيْبَةُ النَّاسِ أَنْ يَقُولَ بِحَقٍ إِذَا رَآهُ أَوْ شَهِدَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يُقَرِّبُ مِنْ أَجَلٍ وَلاَ يُبَاعِدُ مِنْ رِزْقٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ بِحَقٍّ أَوْ يُذَكِّرَ بِعَظِيمٍ»
“Do not let fear of people prevent you from speaking the truth when you see it; speaking the truth and doing what is right will never advance your Ajal nor prevent Rizq.” [Ahmad, Ibn Habban, Ibn Majah]
