Slavery of America will only provide Muslims with Prisons like Guantanamo Bay

WASHINGTON: The White House said in a policy statement to lawmakers that it needs extra funds for prison reconstruction. The prisoners at Guantanamo Bay arrived as young men, captured in Afghanistan and elsewhere early in America’s war on terror. More than 15 years later, most of the inmates at the notorious US military prison have reached middle age. (Source: Dawn)

Comment:

One of the biggest examples of the injustice of the Capitalist system is the abduction and then imprisonment of Muslims without any trial. The Guantanamo Bay prison was opened by George W. Bush after the 9/11 attacks to extensively interrogate the captured suspects. There have been multiple reports that these individuals have been subjected to torture and ill-treatment. Many people, after surviving years of torture in that prison, have heart-wrenching stories to share. One important thing to take notice of is that this maybe the one notorious prison but this is not the only place where Muslims are held in response to US-defined suspicion. This is the hell they reach after different milestones of physical and mental torment. Guantanamo Bay is the very prison for which US President Donald Trump asked Congress for funds because he wanted to ‘’load it up with some bad dudes’’. Although different human rights organisations are keeping a close watch and have been raising alarms regarding prisoner treatment and have been source of some of the stories heard, they have not been able to stop the wickedness. This shows that under the capitalist system, human rights can be sacrificed if needed.

Islam on the other hand gives inalienable rights to the captives. After the Battle of Badr, the Holy Prophet ﷺ showed that the prisoner had among other rights the right to be decently clothed and fed properly and Muslims are ordered to treat prisoners of war kindly.  Imam Malik said that he had never come across any teachings of Islam that sanctioned torture of a prisoner of war to extract information. Muslims are bound to follow the commands of Allah ﷺ and the Holy Prophet ﷺ and these commands are the laws. No benefit allows us to change the law accordingly; however, under the capitalist system laws can be changed and activists demanding for the implementation can be ignored. In Islamic history the treatment of prisoners melted hearts and brought many towards Islam. Now we see that even exchange of prisoners is not an option for us, as if we stop being delusional we will realize that we ourselves are captives and enslaved to a system which gives us no right to demand. Our leaderships in the Muslim lands are not our protectors but they are the prison guards for us. They not only help them capture people but also provide them first with local places to interrogate and torture and then if needed hand them over. We are all being tortured and imprisoned for the crimes unknown.

Prison break for us has to be planned and focused on the establishment of Khilafah (Caliphate) the true leadership for Muslims. Only a righteous Khaleefah will know how to protect and value the followers of the holy Prophet ﷺ. The Khilafah will finish the hunting down of Muslims and will refuse to get Muslim lands used by foreign invaders for their greedy interests.
