A new round of actions has begun in Russia aimed at erasing the national identity of the peoples living in the territories it occupied. First of all, this concerns the Muslim peoples whose revival in the bosom of their religion worries the Kremlin so much.
We are talking about amendments to the Constitution of Russia on the “proposal” of Putin, in which now they will spell out “the special role of the Russian people as a state-forming” and “on the continuity of the Russian Federation in relation to the USSR”, as well as “on the integrity and indivisibility of Russia”, as well as zeroing the time spent by Putin in power before. Thus, the Russian government now officially and bluntly declares that Russia is a state for the Russians, in which other nations play a secondary role and they must agree with this.
It should be noted that the so-called mufti of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims Talgat Tajuddin, spoke out approvingly regarding these changes. “It’s not immediately stick out that the Russian people are only state-forming, it’s justification for the Russian language to be the state language throughout Russia. I am for it,” he said. Also, according to the amendment, the Russian people are included in the so-called “Union of Equal Peoples of Russia”. “This also means that we have a voluntary union, not conquered, not colonies, small and large nations entered the union on equal terms, live in one united Fatherland. I fully support it,” he added.
Thus, Muslims are invited to consider themselves to be part of a federative state, as it was before, but already essentially a unitary Russian state, to serve it, be proud of it, and recognize the legitimate authority of the occupier, who seized the lands of Muslims and established the laws of disbelief there, as well as submit to the domination of the Russian Orthodox Church.
In recent decades, Russia has become known throughout the world as the clear enemy of Allah and Muslims, committing the open destruction of Muslims in Syria and other countries, as well as continuing genocide and physical violence against Muslims in Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia. In addition, it is impossible to list the atrocities of Russia during the years of the Soviet Union as well as tsarist Russia.
In Muslim regions, various types of measures are applied to Muslims who practice their religion – intimidations, arrests and prison terms, including life imprisonment, murders, and the prohibition of almost all fundamental Islamic literature. It is also necessary here to highlight another important factor, namely, the systematically pursued policy of assimilation and separation of the colonized Muslims from their religion. It must be admitted with bitterness that for many dozens and even hundreds of years of such a policy, the Russian invaders have achieved great success. A significant part of the people of Bashkortostan is quite assimilated. However, in recent years, a new rise in religious consciousness has been observed in our people, which cannot but cause concern in the Kremlin.
Historically, the Bashkirs were very persistent people; for many years of the 18th century they fought in an unequal struggle with Russia, defending their religion and lands. Over the years, many have become martyrs for faith. When Muslims had a state, our people focused on it and considered themselves subjects of the Ottoman state, although they were geographically far away, in an occupied position for centuries. Hoping for the protection and help of Allah (swt), they wished to be freed from the oppression of the colonialist and returned to the Khilafah (Caliphate), as indicated by repeated letters from the local khans to the Ottoman Khulafaa (Caliphs). Also important is the fact that the people of the region could always count on the Ottoman state as a place where they can perform hijra for the sake of saving their religion, and, as a result, there are still whole villages on the territory of modern Turkey, whose ancestors once performed hijra from the Urals and the Volga region.
Today, there is neither protection, nor a place where one could go to save their religion, because the lands of Muslims were captured by the colonialists and their agents. There is no a Khaleef (Caliph) who would protect the Muslims like a shield and send an Islamic call around the world.
Allah (swt) said: وَلَا يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُوا “And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able” [2:217].
The only solution to change the catastrophe is to restore the Righteous the Khilafah (Caliphate), which we have been waiting for 99 years. Only this state is capable of ending injustice, persecution, extermination and oppression against Muslims of the whole world, including Bashkortostan.
We appeal and demand from the possessors of power to give the nusra (support) to the Islamic party Hizb ut Tahrir, which for more than 60 years has proved its suitability for taking the rule of the Khilafah (Caliphate), and fulfilling the interests of the Ummah.
Allah (swt) said: وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ “And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good” [29:69].
