Raheel-Nawaz Regime Criminally Neglects the Rohingya Muslims

News:

On 15 June 2015, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) approved a Pakistani proposal to bring into greater focus the plight of Myanmar’s Rohingya Muslims, with the aim to restore their human rights. Speaking at an OIC ambassadorial-level meeting on the Rohingya Muslims, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations proposed that a delegation of the OIC countries should apprise Secretary General Ban Ki-moon about the sentiments of its members about the issue. Pakistan also announced a $5 million grant in the form of food to be channeled through the World Food Program, for distribution in Rohingya camps in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

Comment:

International media reported that thousands of Rohingya Muslims are trapped on boats in international waters near Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, after they escaped the atrocities of Myanmar brutal regime’s persecution and no country had allowed them to land on their soil, even on humanitarian grounds. The people of Pakistan expressed their sorrow for their Rohingya Muslim brothers and sisters and condemned the neglect of the current rulers of Muslims. For more than two weeks, this issue remains the most debated topic on social media in Pakistan, to an extent that the main stream media, which initially did not cover this tragedy, was forced to cover it. The people of Pakistan started demonstrations across the country from Karachi to Peshawar. They demanded the severing of ties and closure of the Myanmar embassy in Pakistan. They began collecting donations to help their brothers living in the camps.

From the very beginning, the Raheel-Nawaz regime did not come forward to act in accordance with the wishes of the people of Pakistan. Nor did the regime show any desire to fulfill its Islamic duty to help these Muslims in dire times. At the height of the crisis, the traitors in Pakistan’s military and political regime were welcoming General Khin Aung Myint, Commander-in-Chief of the Myanmar Air Force, and were discussing matters of mutual cooperation between the two armed forces. They even vowed to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation. Some reports even suggest that Pakistan offered to sell its main combat fighter jet, the JF-17, to Myanmar, an offer that still holds. However, yet this has not been disclosed through fear of severe public anger. However, when public anger and pressure started to haunt this regime, it announced a 5 million dollar assistance in food for the Rohingya Muslims living in camps in Indonesia and Malaysia. It further forwarded a proposal that a delegation of the OIC should meet the Secretary General of the UN to convey the sentiments of the OIC member states.

Pakistan is the only Muslim country which has nuclear weapons, with a dependable delivery system in the form of long range missiles, as well as the world’s seventh largest armed forces. The rulers use the pathetic excuse of dependency when they are asked to refuse US dictates, but in no way is Pakistan dependent on Myanmar, such that it would prevent the regime from taking firm and decisive steps against the Myanmar regime. This has exposed the severe betrayal of this regime of Muslims. The people are making parallels that whenever the US or the UN asks the rulers of Muslims to mobilize armies in order to protect their colonialist interests, they do not waste a single day. They even send Muslim troops to the remotest corners of the earth to fulfill the commands of their colonialist masters. However, when it comes to protecting Muslims and their lands, they simply lay down on the floor like corpses. The Muslims long for a ruler that would send military commanders, like Muhammad Bin Qasim, Tariq bin Ziyad and Salahuddin Ayyubi, to rescue the Rohingya Muslims, liberate them from Myanmar’s brutal persecution and even end this brutal regime, so that the earth can be filled with peace.

The Rohingya Muslims’ tragedy has once again made it clear to the whole Ummah that the presence of Khilafah is of great importance. In the past, when there was a Khilafah, our enemies never even dared to look towards Muslims and when somebody dared to do so, he was met by the sheer force of the Khilafah’s army. The enemies’ lands were shaken by the calls of Takbeer and the oppressor was brought to justice.

We pray to Allah سبحانه وتعالى that He sends His Help for the return of the Khilafah upon the method of the Prophethood soon. Then the Khaleefah of the Second Khilafah Rashidah will rescue our Rohingya brothers, teaching the brutal Buddhist Myanmar regime a lesson, such that no one could even think of oppressing them in the future.

“When the Messengers gave up hope and thought that they were denied (by their people), then came to them Our Help, and whomsoever We willed were delivered. And Our Punishment cannot be warded off from the people who are Mujrimun.

(Yusuf: 110)
