On 4th of February 2016 the Court of Chelyabinsk region sentenced five Muslims from Hizb ut Tahrir. The Moscow region military court deliberated on the criminal case against Salavat Khabirov, Alfred Shaimov, Rinat Shamsutdinov, Orifdzhan Mirov and Radik Kabirov. They were charged for organizing and participating in the work of an extremist terrorist organization, and preparing to usurp power and change the Constitution. They have been sentenced with prison terms ranging from five and a half years to 17 years with hard labor.
The only truth proven in the investigation is the question of the brothers belonging to Hizb ut Tahrir, which they did not deny. With regard to terrorism charges, all accusations are false and can only be described as ridiculous. Speaking about Islam, studying the opinions of Muslim scholars, drinking tea, and playing sports in the eyes of the investigations became ‘terrorism’ and preparation for the usurpation of power. The Court has confirmed this. Also, the investigations and the media contemptuously mention a link between Hizb ut Tahrir and ISIS, aiming to create a public opinion of the party. With regard to the media, which published the news of the court sentence, in an attempt to find a threat in the actions of the Muslims, they have appeared quite absurd, similar to the sentence issued by the court.
All the Russian authorities can do to stop the call of Hizb ut Tahrir, is to lie and issue Stalinistic sentences, which have increased in recent times for up to twenty years. Thus, Russia surpassed the tyrants of Central Asia.
Russian laws are getting stricter every day. Whenever Muslims increase their call for their Deen, the more they are exposed to imprisonment. However, history has shown that the oppression of the tyrants is like poison, people will search for its antidote. That day is not so far when this false rotting regime will become mere rubble, and the Muslims will exit the tyrants’ prisons.
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّـهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ * مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمْ لَا يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ ۖ وَأَفْئِدَتُهُمْ هَوَاءٌ
“And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]. Racing ahead, their heads raised up, their glance does not come back to them, and their hearts are void.”
