US President, Donald Trump, announced on 16 September 2019 that he will meet both Indian and Pakistani leaders, in the “next few days,” whilst claiming that “a lot of progress is being made,” in defusing tensions between South Asia’s two nuclear-armed neighbors. As for the noble Muslims of Pakistan, since 5 August 2019, when the Modi government declared forceful annexation of Occupied Kashmir, they are angry, restless and concerned. Sitting across the Line of Control, within easy reach of the valley, Muslims are witnessing as their brothers and sisters of Kashmir are victim to yet another wave of military terrorism by the Hindu State.

Thus, the resilient Muslims of Kashmir are enduring physical assault, brutality, torture and persecution by the occupying Indian military, whilst the Muslims of Pakistan are in a state of frustration for not being mobilized in support, practically conforming to the Hadith of RasulAllah ﷺ, «مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ وَتَوَاصُلِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ الْجَسَدِ الْوَاحِدِ، إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالْحُمَّى وَالسَّهَر» “The parable of the believers in relation to the kindness, mercy and compassion they have for each other, is that of the body: when an organ of it falls ill, the rest of the body responds with fever and sleeplessness.” [Muslim]

In a desperate attempt to appease the Muslims, the Pakistani regime has engaged in state level condemnations of Indian atrocities, called for economic and cultural boycott, knocked incessantly on the doors of the UNSC and OIC, undertaken rhetorical press addresses, drawn parallels between Modi and Hitler and ordered standing in solidarity on Fridays. However, none of the regime’s measures have lessened the demand of the Muslims to mobilize their strong, capable and willing armed forces. Despite having command over one of best technologically equipped standing militaries in the world, the restraint by the Bajwa-Imran regime is irreconcilable for the Muslims of Pakistan.

For the Muslims of Pakistan, it is inexcusable that the Bajwa-Imran regime has not taken any concrete, meaningful actions to defend the oppressed Kashmiri Muslims, acting indifferently to the enemy’s severing to our jugular vein, even though Allah (swt) said, وَمَا لَكُمْ لاَ تُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاء وَالْوِلْدَانِ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا “And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the Cause of Allah, and for those weak and oppressed among men, women, and children, whose cry is: Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors.” [Surah An-Nisa’a 4:75]

The gulf between the regime and the people is widening. For the civilian or military Muslim, the solution to the current Kashmir crisis is obvious, military intervention. However, the regime is moving in the opposite direction towards abandoning occupied Kashmir to the Hindu State. The Muslims intensely feel the need to immediately extend military support to the oppressed Muslims of Kashmir, but they have realized that it will never occur under the current state. The reason for the widening gulf is that the willingness to militarily support the Kashmiri Muslims is fueled by Iman, but the current regime rules are fueled by a corrupt system devoid of Islamic inclinations, rules and principles.

The yawning gulf can only be closed by re-establishing the Khilafah, the legitimate Islamic state, which alone rejects the prevailing corrupt international order and implements nothing else but Islamic laws. Hence, the re-establishment of Khilafah must be the call of all the Muslims who desire the liberation of their occupied lands and ruling by all that Allah (swt) has revealed.  We must realize that action at the state level in accordance with our great Deen mandates the re-establishment of the Khilafah and nothing short of that. Clearly, the capitalist democratic system imposed on us by the West is the real hurdle in extending help to the oppressed Kashmiris. The enslaving corrupt international order through colonialist tools like the UN, IMF, FATF and the World-Bank are the shackles that prevent us from going all out to rescue the Kashmiri Muslims. The compassion for the Muslims of Kashmir that burns in our hearts demands that we completely reject the current non-Islamic democratic system and strive for the re-establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. It is then that the grieving Muslims hearts will be healed by the Khilafah’s concrete, decisive and meaningful steps in favor of oppressed Muslims all over the world.

The civilian-military leadership of the existing corrupt democratic system is preventing us from exercising our strength and capability to liberate Kashmir. It is the leadership of the current corrupt system that prevented our ready and capable armed forces from fulfilling the command of Allah (swt), وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَخْرَجُوكُمْ “And slay them wherever you catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out.” [Surah al-Baqarah 2:191]  Despite the urge of the lions in our armed forces to wage Jihad against the Mushrik Indian Military, they will be prevented until we take the necessary steps to re-establish the Khilafah. RasulAllah ﷺ said, «إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ» “Indeed, the Khaleefah is a shield, from behind whom you fight and by whom you are protected.” [Muslim] Our lions do not deserve to be led by the current spineless leadership, which time and again betrays them,  who order them to exercise restraint before a lowly enemy that scurries in fear at the smallest strike by our mighty limbs. What our lions rightfully deserve is to be led by a righteous Khaleefah who will ensure the defending of Islam and Muslims, fighting and striking fear in the hearts of the kafir disbelievers.

So let each and all of us demand from our fathers, brothers and sons in the armed forces to grant the Nussrah (Material Support) to the advocates of the Khilafah so finally our occupied lands are liberated and new lands are opened to Islam, as they were for centuries during the era of ruling by all that Allah (swt) has revealed. And may Allah (swt) answer the Dua of the oppressed in occupied Kashmir by His (swt) Nasr for the return of the Khilafah, our shield, soon. RasulAllah ﷺ sent Mu`adh (ra) to Yemen and said, «اتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ، فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ» ‏ “Be afraid from the Dua of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah.” [Bukhari]
