On Sunday 25th December 2011 more than 1000 people attended an outdoor conference in Soucra, Tunis, organised by Hizb ut-Tahrir. Speakers discussed Hizb ut-Tahrir’s constitution, liberation, the uprising and Muslim unity. There was also a keynote address from the official HT Spokesman Ridha Bel-Hadj. In the past few weeks Hizb ut-Tahrir has distributed more than 50,000 copies of its Islamic constitution across Tunisia.
