Democracy itself is not Sadiq (Truthful) or Ameen (Trustworthy), so What of Its Rulers?
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on 9 August said his government would try to create consensus in parliament for the repeal of the constitutional clause through which then premier Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by the Supreme Court.
“The interpretation of Article 62(1)(f) is ambiguous…it can be repealed with the consensus of all political parties,” PM Abbasi told Geo News anchor Hamid Mir during an interview. Article 62 of the Constitution pertains to the qualifications for membership of parliament and its sub-clause 1-f reads: “A person shall not be qualified to be elected or chosen as a member of Majlis-i-Shura (parliament) unless ‘he is sagacious, righteous and non-profligate, honest and ameen, there being no declaration to the contrary by a court of law’”.
On 14 August 2017, Muslims remember the huge sacrifices that were made to establish Pakistan in the name of Islam in 1947. Since then until now there have been various constitutions and numerous amendments of constitutions, yet the people are still far from satisfied about their situation.
A particular focus has always been on rulers that are Sadiq (honest) and Ameen (Trustworthy). However, corruption and rot does not lie in the individuals who rule alone, but also the system itself, according to which they rule. This is inevitable because in origin Pakistan’s current system is a continuation of the British Raj occupation that abolished Islamic rule in the Indian Subcontinent in the first place. Even though the Muslims shed their pure blood to establish Pakistan in the name of Islam, it was the British Parliament that created Pakistan’s initial legislation under its Indian Independence Act of 1947. Even though Pakistan produced its first constitution in 1956, this and every subsequent constitution, including the present 1973 constitution, has been framed around British secular law. Whilst secularism is unlike atheism, as it does not deny the Creator, it is exactly the same as atheism in denying the Creator (swt) being the sole Sovereign over humankind, ordering and forbidding them according to all that He (swt) revealed. Instead, secularism gives human-beings the choice to obey Allah (swt) or disobey Him, even though Allah (swt) has revealed,
( وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلاَ مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمْ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلاَلاً مُبِينًا)
“It is not befitting for a believing man or woman to have any choice in a matter, when it has been decided upon by Allah and His Messenger.” [Surah Al-Ahzab 33:36].
It is not enough that individually pious individuals with a clean financial record are elected as rulers, if they rule by laws which are not revealed by the Almighty, rather it is forbidden in Islam to be part of a system which allows election of men who are so-called “clean and pious”, but rule by Kufr laws.

A teenager died during protests in Occupied Kashmir on 9 August following a gun battle in which three Muslim fighters were killed, police said. Indian troops laid a cordon around a village near southern Tral town on a tip that militants were hiding in a civilian’s home, top police officer S.P. Vaid said.
Since July 2016, after the martyrdom of the young liberation fighter, Burhan Wani, Indian Occupied Kashmir has seen horrific atrocities perpetrated by the brutal Indian regime, in the form of curfew, killings of dozens with injury of hundreds. Women, children and the elderly have been beaten, pellet guns have severely wounded many, including blinding, food shortages have deepened hardships and the banning of internet and social media have left protestors without a voice with which to alert the world to their plight. The hatred within the Muslims of Kashmir against the Hindu regime during these months has been heightened and in response, to suppress the Muslim voices, the brutality by the Indian troops during this period has reached extremes.
Kashmir is burning whilst the rulers of Pakistan are bent on serving the US-project of making India the dominant regional power by “normalization” of its relations with India and burying the Kashmir issue. The cries for help of the Muslims of Kashmir fall upon the deaf ears of the deceitful leaders of Pakistan. Bajwa pours water on the burning rage within the armed forces by condemning India, whilst being careful to call for “restraint.” The treacherous regime in Pakistan will never mobilize the Muslim armed forces for the liberation of Kashmir but will instead exploit them for the American projects, such as abandoning the Kashmir resistance and stabbing the Afghan resistance in the back. It is only the Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the Method of Prophethood which will mobilize the Muslim armed forces in liberating Kashmir and defending its Muslims. It will unify the Muslim lands of the region and elsewhere. With the establishment of Khilafah the American plan of making India a dominant regional power will be eradicated. The Khilafah will ensure the supremacy of Islam and the defeat of Kufr, not only in the region but across the world. Allah (swt) said,
(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ)
“O you who believe! If you help in the cause of Allah, He will help you and strengthen your foothold.” [Surah Muhammad 47:7]

An army major and three other security personnel were martyred when a suicide bom¬ber blew himself up during an intelligence-based operation in Sheratkal village of Sultankhel Darra, Upper Dir, on 10 August 2017. So, the Raymond Davis and Khulbashan Yadav networks continue to remain active in arranging false flag operations against our armed forces, whilst General Bajwa does nothing to eliminate their presence, whether sealing the Indian and US diplomatic missions or expelling their staff. And after the Muslim blood is spilled in this evil way, Bajwa arranges for more blood to be spilled by ordering our armed forces to fight those who fight the American troops in Afghanistan. So instead of our armed forces leading the fight against the crusaders, with the tribal Muslims fighting under the command of our officers as occurred in the time of the Soviet Russian occupation, Muslim fights Muslim. Such evil only benefits our enemies!
These rulers neither care for our armed forces nor for those sincere tribal fighters who are focused only on the crusaders. They care neither for the Deen we carry in our hearts, nor Allah (swt) nor RasulAllah (saaw). They do not care for the blood of the Muslims, even though our Lord, Allah سبحانه وتعالى, said,
(وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِناً مُّتَعَمِّداً فَجَزَآؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِداً فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَاباً عَظِيماً)
“And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him.” [Surah 4:93]. They do not care if Muslims are fighting Muslims in this evil way, even though our beloved RasulAllah (saaw) said,
«إذا التقى المسلمان بسيفيهما فالقاتل والمقتول في النار» قلنا يا رسول الله هذا القاتل فما بال المقتول؟ قال «انه كان حريصا على قتل صاحبه»
“When two Muslims face each other in fighting and one kills the other, then both the killer and the killed are in the hell-fire. The Companions asked, “O Messenger of Allah, this is the killer – what about the poor person who has been killed?” RasulAllah said he had the intention to kill his companion.”
These oppressor rulers neither care for the Muslims nor the blessings that Allah (swt) has given the Muslims. They are serving their Kuffar masters to convert a Muslim country, with the seventh largest armed forces in the world and nuclear weapons, abundant resources and strength, into an abode of chaos and destruction. Allah (swt) said,
(أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ * جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا وَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ)
“Have you not seen those who have changed the Blessings of Allah into disbelief and caused their people to dwell in an abode of destruction. Hell, in which they will burn, is an evil abode, indeed!” [Surah Ibraheem 14:28,29]
