Impoverished Starve Due to Neglect in Provision of the Basic Needs
As reported in the Dawn Newspaper of 15 July 2016, 2 out of every 3 households in Pakistan cannot afford the recommended nutritious diet, according to a report launched by the Planning Commission and the World Food Programme (WFP). This staggering figure reflects the poor condition the Pakistani people are being made to live in. Since the creation of Pakistan, the Muslims have been deprived the right of basic needs and with the passage of time situation has only deteriorated. This comes as no surprise as the rulers themselves neglect the provision of basic needs, whose burden is taken up by private charity. The Chief of Nutrition at the Planning Ministry, Mohammad Aslam Shaheen, said that the issue of malnutrition cannot be addressed by one ministry, partner or donor, it would require a combined effort from all stakeholders. This alarming situation is neither an isolated event nor is the response of Democracy’s ruling elite dissimilar to what was mentioned above. Over the last couple of years, the deaths of hundreds of innocent children in Thar due to malnutrition and drought is not a hidden secret for anyone. As reported in the Dawn Newspaper of 17 July 2016, this year alone the death toll has risen to 414 since 1 January 2016. Whereas the Sindh Chief Minister, Qaim Ali Shah, not only dismissed the deaths, he disputed the cause.
Democracy is not for securing the needs of the people, but only the whims and desires of the rulers, who manipulate law according to their interest. Democracy has directly led to the huge concentration of wealth in the hands of a small elite, not just in the Muslim World but also in the West, leaving the citizens exposed to poverty and hardship. In Islam, the rulers cannot neglect the commands of Islam. Thus, Rasool Allah (saw) said: «لَيْسَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ حَقٌّ فِي سِوَى هَذِهِ الْخِصَالِ بَيْتٌ يَسْكُنُهُ وَثَوْبٌ يُوَارِي عَوْرَتَهُ وَجِلْفُ الْخُبْزِ وَالْمَاءِ» “The son of Adam has no better right than that he would have a house wherein he may live and a piece of cloth whereby he may hide his nakedness and a piece of bread and some water.” (Tirmidhi). Thus, in the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood the ruler will throw his government into the forefront of such a crisis along the lines of great Muslim rulers such as Omar ibn al-Khattab (r.a.) during the crisis of the famine in Medina, amply demonstrating the Shariah concept of ruling whereby the Khilafah is held personally responsible for the wellbeing of all state citizens.
The US Weakens Pakistan so that the Rise of India is not Impeded
On 12 July 2016, senior US law makers from the House Subcommittees on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade and Asia and the Pacific had jointly held a hearing “Pakistan: Friend or foe”, hoping that it would help them determine how to deal with Pakistan in pursuing US objectives in Afghanistan. The meeting was no less than an insult, disgrace and dishonor for Pakistan who even after complying with the US demands of conducting the military operations in a terrible war of Fitna, where Muslims face Muslims in enmity, has not been able to achieve satisfaction of the US policy makers. “They are making chumps out of us. They see us we are being so stupid. It seems like paying the mafia,” said Congressman Matt Salmon, Chairman of the Asia and Pacific Subcommittee of House Foreign Affairs Committee. Other members echoed a similar notion, some even went further proposing to completely cut off the US aid to Pakistan.
For the sake of America’s “War on Terror” and alliance with the foremost enemy of Muslims, traitors in Pakistan’s leadership have overseen the loss of billions of dollars from our economy, tens of thousands of civilian lives, thousands of military personnel and increasing chaos and insecurity in our country. And still the US asks us to do more. The US is directly responsible for disrupting Pakistan, creating widespread havoc and blood shed in the country. It is only through the Khilafah that we will get rid ourselves of the poisonous American Raj. With the emergence of the Khilafah State, hostile states like US will not be allowed to openly operate in disrupting the state, ties will be severed and armies will be mobilized for the protection of Muslims. Engaging in an alliance with America is Haraam according to the Shari’ah for Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّهُمْ مِنْكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
“O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya’ (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya’ to one another. And if any one amongst you takes them as Auliya’, then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers and unjust)”
(Surah al-Maaida 5:51)
Our Armed Forces are For the Liberation of Muslim Lands
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif met in Cairo on 26 July 2016 and discussed security challenges faced by their countries. According to a tweet by the director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations, Lt Gen Asim Bajwa, “regional security situation and prevalent/emerging security challenges were discussed” at the meeting. For his part, Gen Sharif underlined the need for the world and the Ummah to unite in combating the menace of terrorism. Earlier, the army chief visited the Egyptian special forces undergoing training and witnessed their activities and exercise routines. He praised their skills and capabilities.
With Egypt’s active 438,500 military personnel and Pakistan’s 617,000, Sisi and Raheel collectively combine over 1,000,000 of the finest troops in the world. Yet, for what purpose are these armed forces if it is not for the liberation of the Muslim Lands from the scourge of the occupying forces of the Kuffar, whether it is the Jewish state in Palestine, the Hindu state in Kashmir or the American crusaders in Afghanistan and Iraq? Or do Sisi and Raheel not consider such occupation either a “menace” or “terrorism.”
Yes, the Ummah needs to unify in order to combat its enemies, however, that will never occur under the current rulers who are deaf to the cries of the oppressed Muslims and blind to the blood that is spilled at the hands of their enemies. The situation in the Muslim World in terms of the call for Islam and anger at oppression is suitable for the end of Kuffar hegemony, but it will never disappear except by establishing the Khilafah state upon the method of the Prophethood, which will implement, Islam, as mercy for mankind. At that moment, the justice of Islam will expose the ugliness of America’s capitalist leadership, in terms of its materialistic thought and colonialist method which extends to supporting the Jewish state and the Hindu states in their hostility. Moreover, the Khilafah will undertake to eradicate the dominance and arrogance of America, and force her to retreat to her isolation in her New World, the Americas, whatever remains of it.
RasulAllah ﷺ said,
«يُوشِكُ الأُمَمُ أنْ تَدَاعَى عَليْكُم كَمَا تَدَاعَى الأكَلَةُ إلَى قَصْعَتِهَا»، فقالَ قَائِلٌ: وَمِنْ قِلّةٍ نَحْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قالَ: «بَلْ أنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ كَثِيرٌ، وَلَكِنّكُمْ غُثَاءُ كَغُثَاءِ السّيْلِ، وَلَيَنْزِعَنّ اللّهُ مِنْ صُدُورِ عَدُوكُمْ المَهَابَةَ مِنْكُمْ، وَلَيَقْذِفَنّ اللّهُ في قُلُوبِكُم الَوَهْنَ»، فقالَ قَائِلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ الله وَمَا الْوَهْنُ؟ قالَ: «حُبّ الدّنْيَا وَكَرَاهِيَةُ المَوْتِ»
“The nations will fall upon you, inviting others just like the guests invited to a meal.” “They asked, “Will we be few in numbers on that day?” He (saw) replied, “No you will be many, but you will be like the froth on the waters. Allah will remove fear of you from the hearts of your enemies and He will cast Wahan in your hearts.” They asked, “What is Wahan, O RasulAllah?” He (saw) replied, “Love of life and fear of death.” (Abu Daud). So, this means that Muslims are commanded never to fear death and love life above their deen, or there will be consequences in this life as well as the next! So, we must neither fear the rulers nor their colonialist masters in our struggle to establish the Khilafah.
Under the Khilafah, Pakistan Can Thwart US Regional Villainy
The Chairman of the US Senate Committee on Armed Services, John McCain, has urged the United States, Pakistan and Afghanistan to overcome their differences and get down to the business of fighting terrorists. In an opinion piece published in The Financial Times on 26 July 2016, Senator McCain argued that without Pakistan’s cooperation, the US mission in Afghanistan would become “immeasurably more difficult”. Mr McCain visited the Pak-Afghan region in the first week of July and in Pakistan, he met civilian and military leaders and discussed counterterrorism efforts with them. He also visited North Waziristan. The visit, he added, has also convinced him that the strategic imperative for improved relations between the US and Pakistan was clear: the safety of American troops and the success of their mission in Afghanistan. It was also important for the stability of the region and for the national security of both Pakistan and the US.
Mr. McCain is pointing out the obvious. It is no secret that without exploiting Pakistan’s considerable capabilities, the US would not have a hope for its regional ambitions. Musharraf extended intelligence, logistical support, air corridors and air bases that allowed US to invade and occupy Afghanistan in the first place. Then Kayani and Raheel Sharif engaged Pakistan’s armed forces to prevent a fierce tribal resistance from ejecting the US military presence, as had been the fate of Soviet troops before them. Regarding India, through Raheel Sharif’s revision of the military doctrine as embodied as the Pakistan Army’s Green Book, Pakistan is being prevented from being an obstacle to its regional rise, in accordance to the US plan for the region. As for the recompense for realizing US ambitions in the region, it is nothing but destruction and loss for Pakistan. It has been in upheaval and insecurity since the beginning of the US violation of the region, with the loss of tens of thousands of civilians, thousands of troops and billions of dollars to the economy.
There is a flip side to Pakistan being the key to US regional ambitions, which is that it has the capacity to thwart them as well. Under a sincere leadership Pakistan’s considerable capabilities will finally be put to good use. A Khaleefah Rashid would completely sever diplomatic ties with the governments of America and Britain, sealing their embassies and expelling their diplomatic and non-diplomatic staff. He would withdraw all types of military assistance to the American crusaders, denying them access to Pakistani intelligence and military assets and cut all supply lines to NATO and the American war machine. He would leave the door open for the sincere Muslims of FATA, Occupied Kashmir and Baluchistan to swell the ranks of our armed forces and mobilize them to remove the imperialist border that divides the Muslims and thereby unify Afghanistan and Pakistan into a single entity as a step towards moving for the liberation of Occupied Kashmir. This will suffocate the crusader armies and make it extremely difficult for them to pursue their war against Islam.
