Western Control over Pakistan Hits Eight-Year High as Reflected by FDI

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) increased 4.6 per cent to $2.41 billion in 2016-17, data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) showed on 17 July 2017. The capitalist economic system is based on the concept of freedom of ownership. The select band of large capitalists, advantaged with great capital at their disposal, exercise control over the majority of the resources of the world.  Capitalism holds “freedoms” to be sacred and determines that humans are free to own as much as an individual wants, without discriminating between basic needs and luxuries, which then makes the economic problem the scarcity of resources. The solution presented by them is to increase production to fulfill the unlimited needs, even though it is basic needs that are not unlimited, but luxuries are. By focusing on production rather than distribution, the race to resources becomes an unfair competition between the powerful and privileged, the haves, and the masses, the have nots. This has led to a huge concentration of wealth in the West, with a small fraction of the population owning almost all the resources. The Third World has it even worse under Capitalism. It is viewed by the Western colonialist as being plagued with over population and limited resources. So the Western colonialist powers use colonialist tools such as the IMF, WB and Foreign Direct Investment to control the “limited” resources. This undermines the country’s true potential, whilst hugely benefiting the colonialists powers.

The Bajwa-Nawaz regime is intellectually bankrupt, including its Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar. Regardless of the flaws of capitalism and the evil intent of colonialist powers, the regime  promotes policies to promote Foreign Direct Investment, claiming that it will boost the economy when in reality it undermines local production, increases profit remittance to abroad and sustains the technology gap through intellectual property rights.

In Islam it is not permitted to allow the colonialist institutions to have an authority over the economic affairs of the country through conditions. Islam views the economic problem to be distribution of wealth as opposed to production.  The rules that deal with the economy are thus based on three principles, the means for initial ownership, disposal of the ownership and distribution of wealth amongst the people. It was this viewpoint that allowed the Muslim lands to flourish and realize their maximum potential without any foreign interference.  It was the same viewpoint that allowed economic stability and protected the Ummah from ever increasing inflation.  It was the same viewpoint that ensured fulfillment of basic needs of all the people completely even in times of famine. It is only the return of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood which will set an example for the nations of the world that are oppressed by Western colonialism.

But seek the abode of the Hereafter in that which Allah has given you, and do not neglect your portion of worldly life, and be kind even as Allah has been kind to you, and seek not corruption in the earth. Verily, Allah likes not the Mufsidun (those who are mischief-makers, corrupted).”

(Surah Al-Qasas 28:77)

“Do More” for Occupied Muslim Lands for Once, O Rulers of Pakistan!

At least 26 people, including nine policemen, were killed while 58 others were injured in a horrific bombing attack near the Arfa Karim IT Tower on Lahore’s Ferozepur Road on 24 July 2017. According to a well-established pattern, such tragic bloodshed coincides with US demands whether as statements or visits. This time the Lahore blast coincided with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, meeting the Commander, Resolute Support Mission (RSM) and United States Forces in Afghanistan, Gen John W. Nicholson, under the watchful eye of the US Ambassador, David Hale, the cunning former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israel, Egypt and the Levant and Director for Israel-Palestinian Affairs. Bajwa responded to the US demand to “do more” by submissively assuring Washington that “Pakistan will continue to act positively.”

Dignity is the prize of strong will and stance, whereas humiliation before enemies is the bitter fruit of submission and “restraint.” It is well known that the cadres of the Pakistan Army despises the US demands to “do more” to secure the cowardly US troops in Afghanistan from the fierce tribal resistance. Many principled officers have rejected commands, applied for early retirement or expressed severe opposition. As for the timely blasts, the armed forces know well that it is the work of the Raymond Davis and Kulbushan Yadhev networks, as  such blasts are always to underline in Muslim blood, the demand to “do more.” Yet, the wretched Bajwa-Nawaz regime continuously undertakes to “do more,” whilst doing nothing to dismantle the enemy network, which begins with the US and Indian diplomats, through to their covert operative masterminds and on to their paid assassins that paint our streets red with our blood.

Our highly capable of armed forces lack only a sincere and decisive in leadership, not in bravery or capability. It is such a sincere leadership that would “do more” for the security of Muslim Lands, not just for the security of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir, but the entire Muslim World, including the blessed lands of Masjid Al-Aqsa. The current rulers must be deposed by our armed forces and replaced by a Khaleefah Rashid, ruling by Islam and adopting a hostile stance towards our enemies, whilst warmly extending a call to the Ummah to unify under his authority. Until the we will be cursed by rulers who embrace our enemies, whilst our lands burn in fires.

Allah (swt) said,

O you who believe! Fight those of the Disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty ‘unto Him’.”

(Surah at-Tawba 9:123)

True Solidarity with Palestine and Masjid al-Aqsa Demands the Mobilization of Our Armed Forces

Despite the intense and widespread anger within Pakistan against the Jewish entity violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the people of Palestine, the Bajwa-Nawaz regime confined itself to bland statements, when firm actions are the need of the time. On 25 July 2017, a foreign ministry statement declared that, “The government of Pakistan stands in solidarity with the people and government of the State of Palestine in their just demand for basic rights and dignity.” Of what solidarity does the Bajwa-Nawaz regime speak of? At a time when the willingness of the Muslims in Pakistan to sacrifice in the way of Allah for the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque is at a high, true solidarity demands mobilization of our armed forces. At a time when even India’s Vice Chief of Army Staff marveled at Pakistan’s weapon building capacity, with  Lieutenant General Sarath Chand stating on 25 July that, “Pakistan probably has a better industrial base, as far as defence production is concerned, than our country,” true solidarity demands deployment of our weapons in support of Palestine. True solidarity demands the eradication of the Jewish Entity, decisively, for Allah (swt) said,

وَإِنِ اسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ

If they seek help from you in the matter of the deen, then it is obligatory upon you  to help them.”

(Surah al-Anfal 8:72)

In the face of the shameful and humiliating situation imposed by the current rulers on the Muslim Ummah, has the time not come for the Pakistan Army, one of the world’s most formidable fighting forces, to move in support of Allah’s Deen and the support of the people of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque, which has been desecrated day and night, until they prevented the prayer in it?! Has the time not come for the Pakistan Army to answer the call of the people of Palestine and the call of the Muslims in Pakistan and the call of the Muslim Ummah?! Has the time not come for it to roar and move to liberate the captive Al-Aqsa and to sweep the Jewish Entity away from the whole of Palestine?!

“O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he calls you to that which will give you life, and know that Allah comes in between a person and his heart (i.e. He prevents an evil person to decide anything). And verily to Him you shall (all) be gathered.”

(Surah al-Anfal 8:24)
