The Khilafah will Unify Muslim States as One State and Sever Ties with Hostile Non-Muslim States

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, in his first press conference as the foreign minister on 16 August, asserted that Pakistan’s new foreign policy would “begin and end at Pakistan.” He elaborated that, “I want to bring a solid message to the people of Afghanistan. The two countries share a future and geography, and we have to work together and begin our long journey” and added, “My second message is for the Government of India. I want to tell the Indian foreign minister that we are not just neighbours; we are atomic powers. We have a lot of common resources… We need a continued and uninterrupted dialogue. This is our only way forward.”

There is no change in the foreign policy with the changes in policy. Just like the PPP and PML-N governments before it, PTI is focussed on the US plan for Afghanistan and India. Regarding Afghanistan, the US wants Pakistan’s rulers to support the Western puppet government so that it is able to secure the US military presence there. Regarding India, the US wants Pakistan’s rulers to focus on strengthening ties with India so it is no longer an obstacle to the rise of India as the dominant regional power.

For real change, the Muslims must turn their backs on the system of more of the same, Democracy, they must strive to re-establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood so that the current Muslim states will be unified as a single state and hostile Non-Muslim states will be treated on a war stance. The Khaleefah will regard the current Muslim states as the subject of unification, for the Khilafah is a single state for all Muslims and the Ummah must hold the Khaleefah for Islam’s implementation. From the first hours of the establishment, the Khaleefah will work for the end of borders between Muslims, establishing a single armed force, a single state treasury and a single citizenry for this vast and resource rich Ummah.

And the Khaleefah will treat hostile non-Muslim states on a war stance. These are nations who have occupied Muslim Land or other acts of similar aggression. The Khilafah will focus the resources of the Ummah upon liberating occupied Islamic Lands, such as Kashmir and Palestine. It will also diminish the threat from the hostile states by ending the presence of all their bases, embassies and personnel within Muslim Lands. It will sever all political and military contact with hostile states, who use such contact to order and forbid their agents within the military and political leadership and fish for new ones. As in the past, the Khilafah will not compromise on this matter, even if it would take decades to achieve, such as the liberation of Masjid Al-Aqsa from the crusaders.

Democracy is the Factory of Corruption

The Dawn reported on 22 August 2018 that according to a report compiled by the Free and Fair Election Network (Fafen), 35 legislators have criminal cases pending against them in various courts. Eighteen of them belong to the PTI, nine to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, five to the Pakistan Peoples Party and one each to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan and the Balochistan Awami Party and an independent. About wealthy MNAs, the report said that four billionaires belonged to the PTI, two to the PML-N and one each to the PPP and the Awami National Party.

Despite talk of the Madinah State and the Khulafa’a Rashideen, the PTI led national assembly is already delivering more of the same because of Democracy. The new rulers will not end corruption from its root because Democracy itself allows rulers and assembly members to amass wealth throughout the world, including the West. Pakistan is no exception and Democracy itself created a class of politicians who invest tens of millions of Rupees in elections, to make billions once they come to power, through securing ownership of large-scale industry, as well as energy and mineral resources. Corruption is so much a part of Democracy that even the new rulers that came to power on the anti-corruption agenda, had to include corrupt politicians in their ranks, on the basis that they are “electable.” On 4th July 2018, Imran Khan admitted he could not vouch for each of the near seven hundred national and provincial-level candidates his party fielded for elections, stating, “You contest elections to win. You don’t contest elections to be a good boy. I want to win,” and he added, “The political class here doesn’t change that much. You can introduce new actors but you can’t change the political class wholesale.”

The Khilafah on the Method of Prophethood alone will end corruption. The one that holds a ruling post is not allowed to be engaged in any commercial financial work. He is entitled only to his reimbursement, ie his monthly financial allowance. So, if he became wealthy during his time in office, he has to be accounted for that; and it is common that all current rulers become wealthy by possessing funds from the loans the government adopts. When Omar (ra) suspected wrongdoing by a governor, he used to take from him the money which was surplus to his estimated provisions, or divided his money between him and them. He used to count the funds of the governors before and after they held office; and if he found they had extra money, or he suspected them, he would confiscate their wealth or divide it between him and them, and put the confiscated share into the State treasury. This was not considered an infringement on their private property, because they did not earn it legally. For if a man was appointed as a ruler and became remarkably wealthy during his term of office, then this is considered as sufficient evidence for confiscating some of his wealth, because he had earned it illegally, i.e. from other than his salary. As regards government staff other than the rulers, nothing of their wealth would be confiscated unless it is proved by legal evidence that they have stolen, or taken illicit money. What is taken from the governors and government staff as outlined above would be put in the State treasury, and the debts would be repaid from that.

Desire for Dialogue and Trade with the Hostile Hindu State Reveals PTI and PML-N are Two Sides of the Same Coin

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday, 21st August 2018, reiterated his desire for dialogue with India to resolve outstanding differences between the two countries, including Occupied Kashmir. In a tweet, the premier said that the “best way to alleviate poverty and uplift the people of the subcontinent is to resolve our differences through dialogue and start trading.”

The new government of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has so far confirmed that its policy towards India will be the same of the previous PML-N “corrupt” government, which was accused by PTI of protecting India’s interests. The desire of dialogue with India is no much that the new foreign Minister of the PTI government, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, deduced from Modi’s letter of congratulation to Imran Khan, that it includes the consent of resuming dialogue. This deduction was refuted only hours later by the Indian government, asserting that Modi only congratulated Imran and the letter contained noting more.

In his election campaign of 2013, the previous Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, did not mention much about his policy towards India. However, when he came in power he said that he has been mandated to establish peace with India. As for Imran Khan, in his election campaign of 2018, he portrayed himself as the true guardian of the interests of Pakistan and adopted a strong verbal stance against India. However, in his first address to the nation after assuming the office of Prime Minister, Imran Khan did not mention issue of India belligerency across the Working Boundart and Line of Control and inside Occupied Kashmir. As for Kulbhushan Jadhav, an arrested Indian spy, Imran Khan has not even raised it. So, when it comes to the plan for Pakistan to bend before India, PTI and PML-N are two sides of the same coin.

Politicians in democracy lie to their people and manipulate their feelings just to win elections, delivering nothing or even the opposite on coming to power. So we see that the PTI government claims to want to make Pakistan a state like Madinah, but instead draws close to the Hindu mushrikeen. However, the mushrikeen of Quraysh, never saw weakness from the Madinah State and eventually they fell under the authority of Islam. A state modelled on Madinah will never be for normalization with the Hindu mushrikeen, as Allah (swt) warned,

لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ

Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikun”

(Al-Maidha:82)

Under Democracy, Pakistan will never become a state like Madinah, confronting India to liberate Occupied Kashmir. Only the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood will be the true state like Madina. It will adopt a war stance with India, rallying all the Muslims of the region in an overwhelming Jihad to liberate Occupied Kashmir, in compliance of the command of Allah (swt),

فَلَا تَهِنُوا وَتَدْعُوا إِلَى السَّلْمِ وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ

So be not weak and ask not for peace (from the enemies of Islam) and you would be uppermost.”
