Violent Extremism” is a Term Exploited to End Any Muslim Resistance to Foreign Occupation

A delegation comprising members of Defence Committees of the Senate and National Assembly headed by Senator Lt Gen Abdul Qayyum, Retd visited the Army’s General Head Quarters on 18 September 2017. The delegation also had an interactive session with General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS). The session concluded with a resolve to continue our struggle against the menace of violent extremism through a synergetic, whole-of-the-nation approach based on the principle of “collective potential and shared responsibility.”

Like parrots, the advocates of Democracy in the military and political leadership repeat terms such as “radicalization,” “terrorism” and “violent extremism” without questioning the Western invention and usage of these terms. Using the evil of sectarian violence as a cover for colonialist objectives, Western governments have introduced the term “violent extremism” to ban any material struggle by Muslims against foreign occupation. By their definition the sixteen years of fighting by the Afghan Taliban, as well as the seven decades of armed resistance by the Muslims of Occupied Kashmir and Palestine, are forms of “violent extremism.” “Violent extremism” would also include the liberation of Masjid Al-Aqsa from crusader occupation by Salahudin, or the opening of Makkah by the forces of RasulAllah ﷺ, in the Western view. “Violent extremism” would encompass Surah At Tawba and Surah al Anfaal which call for fighting for in the Path of Allah (swt). At the same time neither the US violations of Iraq and Afghanistan, nor the Jewish State and Hindu State occupations of Muslim lands are considered “violent extremism” by the hypocritical West.

The Muslims must turn their backs on the advocates of Democracy and stand with the new emerging political leadership of the advocates of the Khilafah. This alone will ensure that the right of Muslims to the security of their lands from foreign occupation is preserved. Allah (swt) said,

Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when you are the uppermost: for Allah is with you, and will never put you in loss for your (good) deeds.”

(Surah Muhammad 47:35)

Pakistan’s Stability and Prosperity Lies in the Khilafah, not China or the US

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi met US Vice President Mike Pence on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on 19 September 2017. The meeting on the sidelines of the 72nd UNGA session in New York was held in a cordial atmosphere, a handout issued by the Foreign Office said. “It was agreed that the two countries would stay engaged with a constructive approach to achieve shared objectives of peace, stability and economic prosperity in the region,” the Pakistan Foreign Office statement said.  The rulers of Pakistan continue to hold that the strength of the Muslims lies in alliance with foreign powers. However this is a call of misguidance and guaranteed humiliation.

The decades long alliance with US has only ever weakened Pakistan. It is an untrustworthy, colonialist nation that harbors the world’s largest and most well-funded terrorist organization, the CIA. It is thus responsible for false flag operations, bombings and murders, to further US foreign policy objectives, throughout the world, from South America to South East Asia. It is a dishonorable capitalist nation that has mobilized financial institutions, such as the IMF and World Bank, to deprive resource rich nations of their immense natural resources and industrial capabilities, whilst plunging them into debt that can never be repaid through a web of interest (riba) and choking taxation. In its pursuit to secure the interests of its greedy, gray-suited men, it has unleashed weapons of mass destruction upon the women, children and elderly and set its cowardly, dishonorable troops upon the lives, properties, honor and sanctities of others.

As for the alliance with China, it is weakening Pakistan already. CPEC has already established Chinese ownership of key resources, which is a game loser, not a game changer. CPEC has already drowned Pakistan in even more interest based foreign debt, adding to its huge debts to other colonialist powers and institutions. Through CPEC, the regime has established dependence on Chinese imports and labor, which is further crippling the long suffering local agriculture and industry.  China is far from a friendly country for Muslims and the people of Pakistan. It is a greedy state, oppressive to Muslims at home and abroad. This is obvious from its support of the Myanmar regime and its own brutal treatment of the Muslims of East Turkestan, where Muslims are prevented from fasting in Ramadhan, entering Masajid and growing beards. Muslim women are forbidden to wear Islamic dress and now Muslims cannot even name their children “Muhammad” after our beloved RasulAllah ﷺ. And China has politically supported colonialist projects by other major powers throughout the Muslim World.

The current rulers of Pakistan ally with foreign powers, which continually worsens our situation. It is high time that the Muslims rejected this failed leadership and worked for the project that will put an end to this damaging era of dependency on foreign powers, which is the Khilafah (Caliphate) project upon the method of the Prophethood. Only then will the Muslims have a leadership that will strive to strengthen the Muslims, such as unifying the current Muslim states as one Khilafah and building transport, communication and energy links between the hugely resourceful Muslim lands. Moreover, rather than depending on foreign technology and investment, the Khilafah itself will invest heavily in establishing a strong heavy industry, including the manufacture of engines, heavy machinery and arms, so that the economy is built on a strong footing, giving it the capacity to become the world’s leading state. Without doubt, our weakened situation before our enemies is only due to the absence of a sincere Islamic political leadership to shield us. RasulAllah ﷺ said, «إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ»Verily the Imam (Khaleefah) is a shield behind whom they (Muslims) fight and by whom they are protected.”

The US Embassy in Islamabad is a “Mini-Pentagon” and Must be Closed, Regardless of its Height

Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Senator Hafiz Hamdullah on 20 September 2017 raised questions in the Senate over the construction of a seven-storey building for the United States embassy in Islamabad’s Diplomatic Enclave. Responding to the notice, Capital Administration and Development Division State Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that the building was being constructed in line with approved blueprints, and that the Interior Ministry had confirmed that no instruments for spying or surveillance were being installed on the roof of the building. Permission to construct an eight-storey building has also been granted to Bangladesh, Chaudhry said, adding that advanced surveillance equipment did not require rooftops anymore. After a local intelligence agency raised concerns, the city managers had decided to limit the height of the new US embassy complex.

Regardless of the height of the building, there are good reasons to be alarmed at the world’s second largest US embassy in the heart of the capital of the Muslim World’s only nuclear power. In his “Cabinet Exit Memo” dated 5 January 2017, the outgoing US Secretary of State, John Kerry, revealed the existence of a “state-of-the-art tactical security operations center” on our soil, whereas others have been established only after invasion and occupation, such as in Afghanistan and Iraq. The memo also confirmed the existence of the Marine Security Guard (MSG) program which is a blank cheque for US troops to be stationed and deployed under the excuse of protecting the diplomatic missions. The US diplomatic missions include the new US embassy in our capital, which is a fortress in all but name, inaugurated on 31 July 2015 at a declared cost of $85 million.

Such US “Mini-Pentagons” and spy outposts are the backbone of the “terrorist network” that has destabilized Pakistan ever since Musharraf opened the doors to the Americans. This network provides the eyes, ears and hands for America to orchestrate the campaign of chaos on our soil which is a direct outcome of American foreign policy, specifically the policies of low intensity conflict and covert, “black” operations. It is such low intensity conflict which destroys internal stability, strains our capability, strangulates our potential and justifies repeated American interference to ask us to “do more.” And it is the covert operations, the “false flag” attacks, which are an American ploy, supervised by its embassies and intelligence all over the world from Latin America to South East Asia, to make sure that conflict consumes a country. Yet, Pakistan’s current rulers keep the doors wide open for the United States and ally with this terrorist state, extending excuse after excuse for their treachery, even though RasulAllah ﷺ warned,«مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْتَرْعِيهِ اللَّهُ رَعِيَّةً يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ غَاشٌّ لِرَعِيَّتِهِ إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ» “There is no servant whom Allah gives charge over a people and he dies while he is cheating them (by neglecting their affairs), Allah will make Jannah unlawful for him.” [Muslim]
