Chinese and American Interests in Afghanistan

Pakistan and Afghanistan agreed on 27 December 2015 to take first formal steps towards the resumption of reconciliation talks between the Afghan government and Taliban by convening a meeting in the first week of January under the recently formed ‘quadrilateral framework’ that also involves China and the United States.

Yet again we see how the rulers of Muslims allow foreign nations, belligerent to Islam and Muslims, to deliberate over the affairs of Muslims and decide the fate of Muslim Lands. China’s stake in Afghanistan includes prevention of the resistance to its brutal oppression in the adjacent Chinese occupied East Turkestan, as well as securing its badly needed economic stake in the immense spoils of Afghanistan. As for America, it desperately seeks legal cover and political support for its continuing military presence in the region, which is essential at a time when it ensnares the Pakistan Army within its tribal areas, so that its border with India is exposed and thereby becomes a basis for compulsion to make further concessions to India. This is on the one hand. Whilst on the other hand, America is enticing India to stand against China, even though it is neither militarily nor ideologically capable of doing so without incurring great harm on itself.

Both regimes in Pakistan and Afghanistan are implementing US policy which opens the doors to US and China and deliberations, as well as requiring that the Muslims in Pakistan and Afghanistan fight each other. The duty of this Ummah that Allah glorified with Islam is to adhere and rule by Islam, and to remove these regimes, and re-establish the Islamic state, the rightly guided Khilafah. So it tramples America and its plots, and return Afghanistan and Pakistan, and all Muslim countries servants of Allah as one brotherhood,

And that day the believers will rejoice * In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.”

(Ar-Rum: 4-5)

Military Supremacy is a Priority of the Khilafah

The Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra, celebrated on 28 December 2016 the milestone of producing 16 JF-17 Thunder Block-II aircraft in a year and is eyeing to increase the production to 24 aircraft per year. The ceremony to mark the roll-out of the 16th aircraft was held at the aeronautical complex and attended by Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain, PAF Chief Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman and China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation (Catic) President Yang Ying. Pakistan’s contribution within the Chinese collaboration is no doubt significant and highlights the great potential within the Muslims of Pakistan. However, at the same time the collaboration highlights the continued dependence on foreign powers and their technology, which is exemplified by the current air chief’s relentless pursuit of the more advanced versions of the F-16s from America.

Regarding the development of military supremacy and ending foreign technological dependence, the Khilafah (Caliphate) will end the traditional conflict of health and education, versus defence spending. The economy of the Khilafah upon the method of the Prophethood is neither a socialist nor a capitalist economy and therefore will avail huge revenues for all the duties incumbent on the Khilafah, without dampening the drive to earn and thrive financially. The Khilafah will restructure revenue generation according to the Shariah rules to accelerate industrialization, which is a pre-requisite for military superiority and ending technological dependency on other states. The Khilafah will generate huge revenues from public properties such as energy and state enterprises such as large scale construction and manufacture of machinery. It will establish Zakah on industry and Kharaaj on agriculture and end the oppressive income and sales tax that has strangled economic activity. It will also refuse to pay the interest based loans from the colonialists and others, which eat a third of the expenses of Pakistan as debt-servicing, in the knowledge that the loans have been paid many times over due to interest. And if this were not enough to fulfil its obligations, it will ask for charity or loans or seek emergency wealth taxation, but only from those who can meet their basic needs and some luxuries as well.

Moreover, the very notion of powerful armed forces, seeking military superiority, drives industrialization and technological innovation, which energizes the entire economy. This is a phenomenon that was witnessed in the contemporary age major powers, including China and America. In the past, the Khilafah was a world leader in technological development and scientific knowledge, decades and sometimes centuries ahead of its nearest competitors. It was a pioneer throughout the ages in arms manufacture, naval capabilities and land warfare which contributed to its being the world’s leading state without rival for centuries. In the future again InshaaAllah, the Khilafah will work vigorously to become the leading state again, in order to carry Islam to all of humankind. Thus as one part of this effort it will end the technological dependence on the foreign powers and focus upon strong industrialization and state of the art research.

Double Game Strategy is a Ploy to Ensure US Stays in Afghanistan

In an interview published by USA Today on 29 December, the commander of US forces in Afghanistan has said he may ask President Barack Obama to send more American troops to help the beleaguered Afghan forces. In a separate statement, a US State Department official said the United States would not support lifting sanctions imposed on the Taliban until they showed their sincerity to the Afghan reconciliation process. “My intent would be to keep as much as I could, for as long as I could,” Gen John Campbell told the USA Today Newspaper. In the interview he also said he would visit Washington soon to brief security chiefs about his proposals. “Some of them will not go over well with people,” he said. “Some of them will get approved.” He said that maintaining the current force of 9,800 US troops in Afghanistan was vital to train Afghan forces and to conduct counter-terrorism operations. The scheduled reduction to 5,500 troops by Jan 1, 2017 should be put-off for as long as possible and this number does not include the tens of thousands of American private military contractors that America uses to circumvent international laws regarding sovereignty of nations.

So much for the “double game” strategy that Raheel and his mentor and previous Army Chief Kayani claimed to have adopted to ensure the removal of American forces from the region. America has no intention of ever leaving this highly strategic region. Its agents embedded within the leadership of Pakistan’s armed forces are here to ensure that, by using the “double game” claim to deceive the Muslims. The regime has sacrificed thousands of our soldiers to protect the American occupation from the defiant Muslims of the tribal areas on both sides of the Durand Line, that divides Afghanistan from Pakistan. Where is the “double game” in that? The regime is using its intelligence assets to herd the Taleban into a maze of talks to provide legitimacy for the American proxy government in Kabul. Where is the “double game” in that?

The Khilafah will end the era of rulers playing games to deceive their own charge. The Khilafah will sincerely and diligently confine itself to the commands of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and His Messenger ﷺ. It will rally the Muslims of our armed forces and tribal regions on both sides of the current Durand Line as a single force to rid us of the scourge of a crusader presence on our soil forever.

India is an Open Enemy and Peace Requires Supremacy of Islam

“Pakistan and India will have to resolve all issues amicably and in a comprehensive way,” Prime Minister said while addressing a foundation stone-laying ceremony for the western route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project 30 December 2015. He said that during Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s visit to Islamabad it had been decided that the two countries would restart dialogue on all issues. “Pakistan and India will have to create a friendly environment to resolve their issues,” he said, adding that all disputes and conflicts anywhere in the world were resolved through talks. In this context, he had a word of praise for US President Barack Obama over the nuclear deal with Iran. “Wisdom and tolerance help in resolving conflicts.”

The Raheel-Nawaz regime is trying to herd the Muslims of Pakistan into making further dangerous concessions to India, even though they represent a mortal danger to our security and violates the commands of our most prized possession, our Deen, Islam. The enmity and treachery of India is well known from the time of the partition of the Indian Subcontinent, through open wars as well as proxy wars waged within Pakistani territory through the Indian intelligence RAW. India is entertaining talks because it has been given the green-light by the masters of Raheel-Nawaz regime in Washington that Pakistan will be removed as an obstacle to India’s rise as the dominant regional power. This is neither wisdom nor tolerance but it is political suicide.

Islam is the only Deen that has and can again secure peace and prosperity for all the inhabitants of the Indian Subcontinent, regardless of their race or religion. Yet, as part of preparations to make the Pakistan submit before the Hindu State, the regime is undertaking a vicious campaign to suppress the Islamic tendencies within the Muslims, called the National Action Plan. The treachery of the Raheel-Nawaz regime is without doubt and demands its removal and replacing by the Khilafah state upon the method of the Prophethood.
